Clubber Lang vs. Ivan Drago

My friend and I had this argument today: who would win between these two characters, not actors, in a boxing match Clubber Lang (Mr. T in Rocky III) or Ivan Drago (Dolf Lundgren in Rocky IV)? I say Ivan Drago. What do you guys think?

Ivan Drago can slam 2150 foot pounds of pressure on whatever he smashes. Whatever he hits he destroys. He's an unbeatible crushing machine in the ring. No one ever has even coming close to the punching power of Ivan Drago. Rocky was in the best shape in his life when he took on Ivan Drago and he was never more determined. I am sure Rocky probably had broken bones and stuff but he was so determined he couldn ot feel the pain and no matter how much of a beating he took he would get back up and fisht. Thats the only reason Rocky himself did not lose. Also Clubber can take a big beating but not a big beating from Ivan Drago who would crush his head. I have estimated that Clubber Lang can slam about 1100 to 1600 foot pounds on whatever he smashes. Ivan Drago can slam 1850-2150 foot pounds on whatever he smashes. Ivan Drago went 14 rounds with Rocky when Clubber was defeated in like 3 or 4 rounds. Ivan Drago was phisicly the strongest and msot powerful person in the Rocky universe and the only reason Rocky beat him was cause he was fighting for his best freind and had unbreakable determination. Ivan Drago can kill any body but Rocky.

Since we are talking fantasy movie stuff, and since the Rocky movies are my favorite, here's my 2 cents. I think Drago would have beaten Clubber Lang but it wouldn't be as easy as most of you think IMO. I think Lang is as tough as Rocky but maybe not motivated in the same "pure" way as Rocky always was. Lang out weighed Rocky by what, at least 20lbs, and was stronger than Rocky for the most part(depends on which Rocky we are talking about, I would say that the Rocky in movie#4 was the strongest of them all, but the Rocky in #3 was the best overall fighter with quickness and good boxing skills/footwork which by the way I still don't understand why he didn't use some of those skills against Drago and try not getting hit as much as he did in Rcky 4, the Rocky of #2 was probably the toughest as I think Apollo probably hit Rocky more than Drago did as Apollo was faster than Drago at punching). It would be a awesome movie to see all of these guys get together to find out who was the second best of them all, a round robin persay, beneath Rocky of course.

As much as I would liketo say Clubber Lang I'd have to say Ivan Drago, as we all saw in the 3rd Rocky; Rocky wore down Clubber and beat him early. Since it's been a while since I've seen the Rocky movies excpet for Rocky 4 which I own. I'm a huge Rocky fan and although it hurts to see Mick die it hurts worse to see Apollo die. I'm a person who doesn't like to see anyone die even just in a movie. I don't see the necessity of the character dying in most shows. Rocky loses two good friends in the Rocky movies. I'm sure everyone knows this but in the original Rocky 5 script Rocky dies after fighting Tommy Gunn. So as much as I'd like to see Clubber KO Drago in 5 rounds I know it probably wouldn't happen. Hey has anyone ever played Rocky for Playstation 2 or Rocky Legends for Playstation 2. I own Rocky for Playstation 2 and I'm not impressed, the makers of the game (UbiSoft Entertainment, and other video game making companies did a horrible job in my opinion. I think they disgraced the Rocky movies by making this game. I won't speak for Rocky Legends becasue I haven't played it yet. Anyone else hear the rumor of a Rocky 6 being made? Go Rocky!!

i think rambo would own everyone. rambo was the most hardcore guy ever, racking up like 200+ body counts in each of his last 2 movies. not only that, but he can fly helicopters, drive tanks, use a bow and arrow, jump out of planes, and his h+h combat skills are hardcore. he also knows how to tie leaves and plants to his head and body to make himself blend into the enviornment, so people cant see him and he knows how to make traps in the forest. yeah, i think rambo would beat everyone. i mean, if rambo can take on entire armies single handedly, theres no way 1 person alone would be able to take him.

Apollo Creed vs. Clubber Lang

Apollo in 10 rounds, he's too smart for Clubber and would do the same that Rocky did in #3 just a bit longer.

Clubber Lang Vs Tommy Gunn

Clubber in 5, they have similar styles and Clubber is tougher, and can match Tommy for stength and punching power, plus Clubber is meaner, street tough.

Yes I agree, Drago in 2, Drago's combined physical attributes and skills make him tough all around

I say Apollo in 10, Apollo is a warrior like Rocky, just a bit better technician at the art of boxing, like Ali. The Apollo of Rocky 2 would have done much better against Drago, even maybe defeating him...

Yes I'd agree, that if Apollo was in the shape he was for Rocky 2 or maybe even Rocky I think he would have definetly lasted longer against Drago and yes maybe even beat him. Well I have to say I proved this thread wrong. I'm playing Rocky for Playstation 2 after playing in Movie Mode and Rocky defeated Ivan in a points decided match 149-143 I tested this thread by playing Clubber Lang Vs Ivan Drago, Clubber KO'ed Drago in the 12th of 15 Round match. I tried to keep it as real-life as possible so instead of playing it on the easiest level I did it on the hardest and Clubber won. How bout that?
