In my opinion some of the best fight scenes are in The Legend of the Drunken Master, Jackie Chan and his crew didn't spend more than 4 months on the final fight for nothing! Bruce Lee's fights were great thanks to his ability and speed, and I think that Tony Jaa (the star in Ong-Bak) is the new rising star in MA movies. He is great in what he does, uses traditional Muay Thai techniques and does the stunts (and what stunts!) himself. Fights look realistic and Tony Jaa's style is very good to watch. I really hope he will work with Jackie Chan!
BTW his new movie Tom Yum Goong will come out near the end of the month in Thailand.

How about Gordon Liu in Master Killer? That was fun to watch.

One of my favorite fight scenes was in Matrix 2 when Neo was fighting all of the agents in that park... u know, the scene where he pulls the pole out the ground and commences to use it as a bat...man, i love that scene! u can hear the wind and shit!

ohh, and of course, there's the classic "Return of the Dragon" where Bruce Lee fights Chuck Norris...

Don't forget Jet Li in "Cradle 2 the Grave" with DMX
There were a lot of good fight scenes in there.

My fav. fight scene of all time is Darth Maul vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jin in "Star Wars: Episode One."

Well, to me, personally, I hate the fake-looking stuff, so I hate any fight scenes with Jet Li. And I HATED the Matrix movies' fight scenes, especially with Neo fighting with that pole; all he was doing was flying around and spinning like a helicopter.

The way DMX fights in Cradle 2 The Grave, the beginning fight with William "The Butcher" Cutting in "Gangs of New York," that sword-fight scene from some James Bond movie (I forget which) with the Japanese swordsman guy, Sylvestor Stallone breaking out of the police station in "First Blood," and some others I am forgetting, are my favorites.

Jackie Chan's stuff I like, though he does stuff, although fake, that a human being actually can do, just not stuff you would do in a fight. Jet Li does stuff a human can't do in a fight in his movies, with wire-work and all that. People usually think that stuff is awesome, and I used too, but after a lot of martial arts it seems incredibly boring and stupid to me.

Ray Park, as Darth Maul, of course was choreographed, but aside from using the Force a little bit, most of the stuff he did a human can do, and I just found it awesome the way he fought with that double-lightsaber like that.

Personally, in The Matrix reloaded at the part where Neo is fighting the vampires in that Great hall area, is the best weapons fight scene ever created.

But fight scene's with strictly fighting, id have to go with Bruce Lee Game Of Death. When he fights the White MA champ in the locker room

                Best:
Kalifornia: In the bar. Guys are trying to start trouble, escalating things a piece at a time. "Early" cuts the negotiations fast with a surprise beer bottle the head and a follow up of many horrible blows. Quick, brutal and decisive. A nice visual representation of "Whoever comes with the mostest the firstest is the winningest"
                --
Braveheart: What's it look like when 1000's of men run as fast as they can at each other screaming with mob-kill-madness? Well. Until braveheart, we weren't sure. Now, we can picture it easily : don't be in front, and don't lose your footing.
                --
                Worst fight scenes :
-Patrick Swayze: any movie where he is doing ballet-like, flippy round kicks (Roadhouse, Point Break, Etc.)
-The Dirty Dozen: I swear to god, in that scene where the dirty dozen end up fighting their fellow soldiers.. if you put squaredance music to it, it would make total sense.
-Jean Claude Van Damme: Pfft. Take your rear spinning wheel house kick back to Tae Kwon Do class and do some point sparring, pal. Hey, wait, don't get mad..didn't mean anything by it..(cough)
-Segal - I can't decide what to make of this freaking guy. Why's he pick his wardrobe to hide his belly? Why does he take great messages and make them preachy and sappy? Why? Why?
-Schwarzenegger - "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women" - His lines are the best part of him. His acting is the best part of him. Why is he known for his action scenes?
                --
Rated for gymnastic ability? Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee..

fight club is great. how could they combine so many fun elements in one movie.. the science of higher consciousness through harder contact explained within context, the problem of the world having become a "mining town" and the credit card companies own the company store, the schizophrenia that exists within each and every mind of the "slave self" and the "free self"..

thought I'd absolutely hate it. Loved it right down to the part where brad pitt and norton are getting on the subway, and they point out some pretty boy in a movie ad (I think?) and they ask one another "Is THAT what real men look like?".. making fun of the fact that movies sell us pretty boys as tough guys.. when Pitt, within the movie, is the epitomie of that.

I love when a person/movie/whatever can laugh at itself.

                        Best and worst

Well someone stole this from me before i could get to it lol, but lethal weapon 1... mel gibson fighting.. uhh the villain ... last fight of the movie, that is a sick fight, it even starts off well with "you wanna take on the champ" lol, fucking great movie. A movie with lots of good fight scenes is the Hunted.. movie about some crazy knife guy.... I like the fight they have in the forest closer to the start because its prolly the most realistic fight ive seen in a movie.. where these two masters of knife fighting are on the ground and one is just kneeing the other guy in the arm cause thats all hes got to work wtih. Umm... and I think the scene in Blade 2 where he fights tons of the familiars in front of Reinhardt with the "Name of the Game" song by Crystal Method.... that is sick.

Now for another part, worst fight scenes ever... Neo spinning around with that fucking poll.... just dumb, the first fight scene in that movie is pretty good.. except for its too short, only problem.... another movie I HATE is kill bill... one and two.... that movie was just fucking ridiculous... "after you take 5 steps youll die"... wel ill just sit here you dumb bitch... call the ambulance... or when she fights the crazy 88 or w/e.... lieing on the ground with a sword? spinning around... theyd pull out their uzis and shoot the **** out of her... fucking retarded.. and then the fight against the "boss" (crazy women sword chick) right after is like 1 minute long... worst movie ever....

"My favorite scene is when Napoleon Dynamite bitch slaps his brother."

                          Yea, that's a great scene, isn't it?
