Rash guard: long sleeve or short sleeve?

I practice BJJ en grappling and i want to buy a rash guard. What should I choose: a long sleeve or short sleeve rash guard?

I’m 5.91 foot and 178.57 pounds: What size do I choose?

Personally I like the Dogs of War Rash guard. I've had mine for almost two years and it rocks!

Go with short sleeve. Then when your wrists sweat, you can slip out of someone's grip easier. Its hard to help you with the size because knowing your height and weight doesn't matter as much as the style of your frame. I am currently 5 feet, 11 inches and 216 pounds but carry muscle. My friend is 5 feet, 11 inches and 205 pounds but his stomach is very fat and he wears larger shirts than I do even though he weighs less on the scale. My frame is proportunate, his is egg-shaped. Do you understand why it is hard to tell you what size to buy?

One nice point is that a long sleeve rash guard will cut down on the mat burn on your elbows. That said, I get hot in long sleeves, so I wear short sleeves.
