I may be wrong, but I believe that I read Kid Pelligro dismiss the Ryan/Sak fight as a rumor on the UG.

He said that Ryan isn't ready for this fight right now.

No inside word on who will be Sak's next opponent.

Likely candidates: Henderson, Goes, Frank, and Rickson.

I sure hope it's a rumor. I think fighting Ryan would be a huge step backward for Sak. Now a

fight would be incredible. I would most definitely pay money to see THAT fight. With no time limit and no judges decisions, Goes wins. Just my opinion.

Okay in the first place...

Sakuraba and Ryan fought already...

Pride 12...Sak won by Decision.


In the second place, I hope Ryan does get this shot. Just on the simple fact that he is the only Gracie Sak has faced who he has not TKOed. (For those who didn't know, Sak TKOed Royce who tossed in the towel, Renzo and Royler both with Kimura locks.) Ryan is a young fighter who is talented and I belive a bit more risky then his family, he is willing to go out on the curve a bit and that is what cause Sak and he to go to decision acorading to most.

As far as Rickson..

This happens every time...People say oh Rickson doesn't want to fight, oh Sak will beat Rickson he should fight someone else...they said it about Funaki, they said it about Takada both times, and what happend to those guys? Oh yeah they got submitted just like everyone else...9.0.0 -9 by submision, 5 chocked out...Have you ever seen Rickson fight? It is scary...just plain scary the guy shows no emotion...he is like a friggan robot...But the others are right....Rickson fights in his own time...when he is ready he steps in the ring...thats why he does not lose...becuase he does not fight if he is not ready....plus like that other guy said...it's real easy to get in to a real fight with him...just go to his School and talk a little smack in front of his students and he will whoop that ass.
