What happen to Tyson in K1?

I searched the forums for news of tyson and Sapp/Aerts, all that i found was "its going to happen" After that I read that Japan denied him a visa cause hes a rapist. After that is just stops. I looked on the net and found nothing after that.

I was really looking forward to seeing how he would do. Its been a year or so since any one has talked about it on the net or on the forums. Any one got any Info?

i was wondering that also. Wasnt Tyson supposed to fight Sapp? did that happen or what? did they just forget about each other?

Before I left Japan it was said to happen in July. Now even if he was denied his visa K1 is still held in Vegas. So they could do it there if they really want it to happen.

i doubt its gonna happen. Tyson was suppose to fight Sapp but then they couldn't decide on the rules so time passed, and Tyson was then rumoured to fight Shannon Briggs (also from boxing) who crossed over to K-1.

Tyson signed with K-1 about 2 1/2 years ago so i really don't thin anyting will happen.

I have a video, of Tyson and Sapp calling them on, and Sapp says, I will fight him UFC Rules, K1 Rules, MMA Rules, or Boxing Rules. Now im sure tyson would have taken one of those, it was also quite funny to see Tyson lip off the much larger sapp, especially with Tysons voice. However they were talking about fighting that night, however it hasnt happened, if/when it does I'd like to know lol.

#1 He won't fight in Japan because of his felony rape conviction and the fact that Japanese law prevents him from entering the country due to his conviction.

#2 K1 Vegas won't make the money to get Tyson in their ring.

They should try Riddick Bowe . . . then again he's turned down fights recently against guys that have records as bad as 10-31. Boxers don't want to fight K1 or MMA and Mercer's recent drubbing will make it even more difficult to get a boxer in the ring with anyone other than another boxer.

Le banner was supposed to take on Tyson but under tyson boxing rules.
Useless really if it really did happen.
Now le Banner won his first K1 MMA fight, I do not think he would even bother with Tyson anyway.
Tyson is just useless (attention seeker) and will never fight in K1 and K1 MMA.
Most probalby will get himself KOed if he ever did!
