HAHA The Look Was Priceless

Dont know if this is particularly the right place for this, but I thought it would be funniest for you guys as its more of a modern thing.

Today I'm in Krav Maga class (see why it doesnt really fit) and were learning this not so fancy front kick, basically a kick that youd only ever use once in a fight... long range.. and then you close the distance. The priceless look came during the class. This class is taught after the guy teaches traditional karate and all that. This 15 year old BlackBelt ... (think its teh masters class or something he teaches before) is standing their getting all his stuff together, and the guy is like "this isnt some sort of fancy Martial Arts kick, it will actually do something".... and then he does it, and I look over and this kid has his black belt on, and he was looking all proud and stuff, and hes got this dumbfounded expression like, "did my karate teacher, just say that my karate wont do shit for me?"... oh it was sooo good... thought I'd share that... I wish you all could have seen his face.

yeah ive seen that look many times at my gym. ive seen more than a few blackbelts who have trained years from different backrounds come into our gym and not be able to hold their own vs kickboxers and boxers who have been only training about 10 months from our school. i knew this one blackbelt who came to our school cause he wanted to compete. everytime u threw a punch at him he would either run away and back up alot or he would eventually shut down and ball up, leaving him completely defensless. he didnt know how to parry punches or counter. it was sad. the only thing going for him was a decent sidekick, but not much else.

Yes, you are in the wrong section..
So you do the Krav Maga class and like to make fun of Karate...
Karate clubs fight in tournament and Krav Maga talks..

You're story is kinda funny because there's plenty of other MA's that laugh at KN practitioners.Either you go to a legit KM school or maybe you should look at yourself in the mirror to see the expression of your face.
