To pre-empt any wisecracks, no I don't piss my pants at the thought of fighting people! On a serious note, I noticed that after training my shirt smelt of ammonia (or cat pee). This was normally after heavy workouts which produced a lot of sweat. Since ammonia (or urea) is produced by the kidneys, I was slightly worried about Renal problems. However, the smell seemed to stop after a while and I didn't bother seeing the doc. Recently it has come back though so I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem. I have just read an interesting article (see link below) and it suggests the problem is due to a lack of carbs so eat a light meal before training or drink a sports drink during long sessions. I'm gonna try Maltodextose cause its cheap. As you can imagine, this can be quite embarassing so thought I'd post this to help anyone else out who has this problem.

I get the same effect. I've skipped eating before my worklout and that seems to lessen the effect.

I read that if you take carbs onboard before a workout then this should help as the body will burn those rather than proteins....
