definitely do not see Sperry getting submitted. I don't think Kerr could pass the guard either. You guys are right will depend on whether or not Sperry can tap Kerr. any word if the guys who run this tourney have propositioned Rickson??

sperry is a seasoned point-player; i don't think he would have to tap kerr to win;

re: rickson; i read somewhere that rickson had been approached, but declined. this seems logical for him; his trade is nhb in japan, and he's no spring chicken.

saulo is a very good pick. i want roleta because he has a very solid guard very unorthodoxed. i like his style. saulo has a vaery good chance of winning. my prediction is roleta and in the finals and roleta win by a sweep.

i think a lot of people want to see dramatic submissions, but a sweep can produce a sweet win, also.


i was surprised by the sudden sweeps i saw when watching the masters' div. players at the judo nationals in houston; some of those old-timers really skied each other! they followed up with quick pins, also.
