It seems like UFC has more fighters that I know. But that might be because I used to watch UFC before PFC. I have yet to see all of Bushido 8. Most of the fighters so far on Bushido 8 I do not know though. I really like Tito Ortiz and he is on UFC so I would say I would have to go with UFC. But both contain good fighting. It is just nice to see a fight like when Tito vs Ken Shamrock and their was like a rivalry before it. Where as on PFC people have to much respect and it subtracts from the casual viewers interest levels. Anyway, right now there is no UFC events on PPV to order so I will just finish Bushido 8 when I get the time on my TiVo.

I prefer Pride FC any day, UFC is to much like US pro-wresling in format. Pride also appears to attract a slightly better standard of fighters, due probably to the purse.
Also I prefer to see fights in a ring as opposed to a cage, as I think fighting in a cage can degrade from the professional skill values and status of the sports.

I prefer Pride, but one problem is the large number of matches involving Japanese pro-wrestlers.

Pride is more technically entertaining in general and brings in higher caliber fighters.
UFC has some really good fights now and then, but was originally meant to attract an audience of over pumped drunk fellas rather than the MA community in general.

I agree with Tom. UFC was invented to attract a general audiance. But I think with out UFC, MMA wouldn't be as big as it is today. The octagon is much more space than in a ring and it is more invitational of ground action. IMO, UFC and Pride need to take their events on ESPN in replace of poker. Have a live event every Friday night. Have the big championship fights on PPV. I think I am underexposed to MMA because its hard to find. So yes, they do need to get on some major tv network. Eventually ESPN will do full on MMA coverage like they started doing with Nascar. That will be the day.

UFC guys usually like to ground and pound, using the cage because they lack submissions (couture, liddel, tito) the Pride guys kick ass with submissions, they have too, no cage to hold guys against like the chickenshit UFC guys, Mir omitted, hes bad ass
