So you think BJJ is effective for street self defense?
Unlike you, I don't wrestle around with men in the missionary position. I hear you are focusing on the north/south mount position these days, or as we call it ...69. Enjoy yourself wrastlin' around with your face buried in your teacher's crotch, jubaji.
By the way jubaji, if you're going to be in that position so often, you might want to think of taking up grappling or BJJ. Just in case, ya know? You never can be too safe. Just thought I'd give some MA advice being that we're on a MA board.
Enjoy!
you just proved jubaji right again shitbag. . Shows how mature you are making fun of the 69 position. What fuckin grade are you in dumbass?
No, clearly you don't. That's why I said you can go and claim your glory any way you want. Go make your challenge. I know you like this kind of thing because its exactly what you were recommending, remember? So go on, we'll wait until you're out of the hospital to make your report. OR you could stop being a fucking hyporcite posuer and shut the **** up.
Uke will never be able to step up to his challenges. He's so busy writin' 1000 word responses on this forum, the guy can't surely have time to actually train in a MA. Dude has no life. I don't give a shite if he claims victory in his so-called debate. He writes with a puffed out chest because won a debate over the internet - how f_uckin' retarded is that?
Yes Cam, my arguments are falling apart. You and JKD187 are far superior typist than I am. As I explained, what you do nowadays you do because what you've done before failed you.
What JKD187 does in this debate, is argue one concept against another because he certainly cannot argue one system vs JKD, as JKD is not a system. And that is the reason why so many students leave JKD. They love the concept of what it preaches, but most cannot fight well because they have no system to work off of, just a concept. That's what made Inosanto so popular. He's one of the few who actually used his traditional base to build his JKD, and now people follow him largely because of that.
You say you live in Australia Cam, and I do not doubt that there is talent there, but who? I've heard of people all over the world like Yip Man(China), Tony Blauer(Canada), Gracies(Brazil), Wai Hong(Hong Kong),Keith Kernspecht(Germany), Mikhail Ryabko(Russia), Masaaki Hatsumi(Japan), Mestre Alabama(Brazil) and many others.
Now, many of the people all over the world have heard of what I do and who I do it with. Now who did you say you study with?
You've purposely tried to change the direction of this debate because you know you had nothing of value to offer about the topic at hand. You've done little to enhance your debate over BJJ, and now you are putting energy into debating a system you've never seen, trained in or fought against. JKD187 has only seen it as well. Because had he actually got on the mat and tried out his theories, he would be singing a different tune.
Professor James isn't the only style of Vee, and he is one of the more civil proponents under the Vee umbrella. I would be more than happy to give JkD187 directions to one of the schools that would be glad to let him come in and work out his "differences" on the mat. Honestly, I don't think you'd have the balls to go into the neighborhood, let alone get on the mat with anyone in the school. I almost sure your instructors wouldn't either.
But then again, I could be wrong. Let me know. Until then, don't use a new subject to hide behind the fact that you have nothing to contribute to this debate. Disagreeing "just because" doesn't cut it.
As for the rest of you, are you suggesting that you'd like to test out your theories on me? If so, I'm all for it. But none of you are willing and you know it. That's why you post tough comments here. I'm not here to talk tough. The topic is "So you think BJJ is effective for street self defense?". And because most of you are now proving to be impotent in this debate, you have tried to turn this into a silly argument.
This topic was never about a recommendation. And just because I study VeeJitsu doesn't mean that anyone else should. However, I know that Ronson, Tant01 and jubaji will never come to any school with that attitude, because they know in person that their @sses will be held accountable instead of their posts. I have no need to tough talk any of you, as many of you are children and teenagers.
None of you, jubaji, Tant01, Ronson or cam427 have offered anything in this debate about the subject matter. So, I guess this is your opportunity to now act like fools. Type what you will, but unless you can do more than just type insults, you're just angry idiots who have banded together in hopes that you seem like someone agrees with you.
Actually what I said is that I am from Australia and did some of my training there, I do not live there. I live in Ireland.
You probably have never heard of my instructors (just like I have never heard of yours). So what. Like I said before I am sure for every "famous" instructor there are 100 excellent ones who no one has ever heard of.
I don't train with people because they are famous. I train with them because they are good. The level of celebrity of your instructors seems very important to you.
Surely you are not so arrogant that you are trying to claim there are no good MA instructors in Australia because you have never heard of them. I have also heard of many people all over the world yet had never heard of your instructors simply because they are not particularly well known.
I am interested to know if you actually trained (regularly, not just the occasional seminar) with the people you claim are your instructors.
Your stupid argument that if we went into some clubs the instructors would beat us up is rediculous. There are two problems with it. Why would we go there and why would they beat us up. Surely they would try and show us the merits of the style rather than to attack someone. You keep saying we would not have the balls yet you have refused to accept Jubajai's offer of going down to the local wrestling or BJJ club.
Often people do not accept these challenges not due to a lack of balls but because they are reasonable people who do not wish to fight. It could also be because the challenge itself is for a relative novice to try and fight an instructor with 20 or 30 years experience. I would hope that you are wrong and that these guys, unlike yourself, would not be egotistical enough to pound a newbie because he had questions about the style.
I "do what I do because what I was doing before failed me". But I did Jujitsu before and it states on your "instructor's" website that Sanuces is jujitsu. Also VeeJitsu is also based on it. Was this then also true of your instructors? Did they quit all of the styles they did becasue they failed?
I would be more than happy to give JkD187 directions to one of the schools that would be glad to let him come in and work out his "differences" on the mat. Honestly, I don't think you'd have the balls to go into the neighborhood, let alone get on the mat with anyone in the school. I almost sure your instructors wouldn't either.
However, I know that Ronson, Tant01 and jubaji will never come to any school with that attitude, because they know in person that their @sses will be held accountable instead of their posts. I have no need to tough talk any of you, as many of you are children and teenagers. .
And yet here you are trying (and failing miserably) to 'tough talk', ya fuckin' pathetic hypocrite pussy
