[The whole point of Judo, and by extention BJJ, is to be able to train techniques full speed, full power, against a resisting opponent, EXACTLY as they would be used in a real confrontation, and thus being more suitable for self-defense.]

-Exactly! How many guys who train in standup feel comfortable with a 250lb guy taking them down and grappling with them? Well for BJJ guys, its a everyday thing at the gym, and so it goes for all sizes. No BJJ guy will feel uncomfortable with an opponent of any size, save maybe Shaq
