  • Does any martial artist in england, want to fight me?

    a honorable fight,
not to harm but injuries might happen,
    control has to be applied,
if someone if down and hurt let them recover,
any style can be used no intent to kill or seriously harm though,
meet in neutral location, prefered a field or something,
record the fight on camera, post the link to it ont he forum,
start up some tournements with people from uk.
    all people over 18 only,
    no weapons or disshonorable actions,
also maybe learn from each other and train with real sparring/fighting,
no padding can be worn, no gaurds or gloves, wear only your gi, or martial art training garment,
bring some people with you for safety reasons,
i will do the same, incase any crazy people decide to be stupid.

exactly how do you "battle under friendly terms?" is that like the christmas truce in ww1 that the troops instigated? and had to be forced to restart the war?

Or more like a battle between the French and the Italians?

kung fu isnt for beating people up, or sport, its for self defense...perhaps you should look into MMA if you want to test yourself in mock battles with rules

you know what i ment by "friendly" a honorable fight you must understand the concept, this isnt pointless sparring and fighting experience liek this can teach you things you know.

          no gloves,
          no padding,
          no footware,
          no actual formal fighting rules,
          just have honor,
any strike is actually allowed there are no dissqualifications,
but fight with honor, let someone get back up, dont stomp when some1 is down, no throwing shit in peoples eyes, no using your garment to strangle or fight, anyway the terms of the fight will be discussed before the fight, both people have to agree with the terms before hand, if you dont like it boar you dont have to embrace it im not forcing it upon you sir.

          much respect to all,

i would much rather you try and force it on me...then you could see how well you really understand those shaolin techniques you've studied i mean really arent you shaolin? The only way to beat you is to get you to throw the first strike right?? consider this the pre fight stare down...in the words of monty python...i taunt you...

yes you speak the truth, but this poses a bit of a bad situation, if the gong fu student wont throw the first strike among his fellow students, how will it ever begin with gong fu "sparring", how about i discard my beliefs and threw the first strike (wich i cant ever remember doing apart from an interception blow where they threw a strike first but i hit first).

we could enduldge in some zen meditation with tea, before the battle commences, it will be very dramatic.

what if i just smoke a fattie first? that alright with you? i promise not to "cheat"
and blow smoke in your eyes...i am a big fan of the "way of the burnin joint' like
the monks (ever smoked a Temple ball?)...you know the daily exercises, shaolin joint rolling, and we've all seen the hand positions of the statues....you can tell they were holding a joint...it also explains thier calm demeanor and cryptic speaking styles, they were on the chronic!!

Let the other person get back up? This is a MMA/BJJ forum!

I don't know a single stand up person that drops their opponent and then just stands there and waits for them to get back up. They ground and pound if it goes to the mat.

Grapplers are GOING to try to put you on the ground and keep you there and not let you get back up until you've tapped or are unconscious.

MMA/BJJ isn't boxing. You don't stop until the ref tells you to or your opponent gives up/can't continue.

No groin strikes, no eye gouges, no biting, no scratching, no spitting, no weapons. Sometimes no floor stomps, sometimes no strikes to the back of the neck, sometimes no kicks while on the ground. Other than that, good luck!

ok submission aswell then, no waiting for them to stand. but then some other moves should be allowed to counter the holds aswell.

the first rule of fightclub is that you don't talk about fight club

just go watch that and have a few beers, if you're serious about fighting just try a toughman ,boxing, kickboxing, mauy thai, or mma fight. From the wierd rules you want I suspect you've never been in a fulll contact fight in your life and probably wouldn't like it anyhow, maybe I'm wrong, now you're homework for this week is to go out and start a fight and lose.

i do not enter martial arts tornements, of commercial nature, i am a traditional fighter, i will fight under any circumstances aslong as there are no pads or gloves or headgear/footwear, i will fight that irish guy when i am next in ireland i have family there, if he wants to put money on it ile participate but i dont care for the money i have enough of that. it is not an object to me.
