kg to pounds, multiple 80 by 2.2 to get 176 pounds
multiply weight in kg by 2.2 and you have weight in pounds. divide weight in pounds by 2.2 and you have weight in kg.
its mass not weight i know, but the difference seems irrelevent here

so yeah, you outweigh him by a fair bit

      thanks for wishing me luck,

ok see me and my best friend, (we have been best friends since we were like 3-4 years old, we first trained with my friends uncle and my uncle, they taught us basic martiala rt drills, and ever since that early age we have been fighters, we still train 4 times a week together, as we grew older we joined boxing gyms around east london, and both used to fight as youths, we were always doing gong fu, and taiji whilst boxing, then we quit boxing after a good few years because we basiccally learned that style, we are both very fast learners, then we concerntrated on grappling and my uncle has alot of friends in the military, they do a style called systemma and a few others, he taught us systemma and some military systems, armed and unnarmed methods, we always did gong fu conditioning then we really focussed on it, seeing who can hit the wall or tree for longest with bare hands, see who can hold his hands out infront of himself in horse stance for longest, constant motivation from each other, we trained alongside each other untill we turned about 13-14 then we got involved in gang fights and street wars, putting our training to use in the wrong way totaly, and yeah we continued down the wrong path for a few years, we continued training ofcourse, but we were involved in alot of serious shit when we were about 16-17, thats where i talk of real batle experience, we were basically at war with other people day in day out, but those days have past and we have both gone down a better path but together as always, we are both married now, but still train every day and usually 4 times a week still, but we are men now and both want to put real fighters to the test, we both think people have got weaker over the years, both feel the traditional ways have been forgotten, and we both live and breath the traditional ways of training, we want to basically without dissrespect, throw down the gauntlet to any modern fighter, i am going to gyms, temples, camps, dojos, halls of training, anywhere that has modern fighters to challenge, and i wish every fighter the best, i dont wanna fight some fake daniel son, i wanna fight the hero you know what i mean? challenge is everything to me.

Well, challenge is easily available to you. Like everyone's saying, just go to a local mma gym or try to get on a local fight card. Stop the "no gloves or protection" nonsense; four ounce, fingerless gloves, a mouth guard, and a cup don't change the nature of the fight in any way that could give you cause to complain. The rules are also less restrictive then any sort of sparring you've probably ever done. So stop the posturing, stop challenging people on the internet and go to a local mma school. Roger Gracie's place might be a decent one to start with.

Just don't be too surprised if things don't go exactly the way you've imagined them. But no more running your mouth online. There's nothing stopping you from using google and going to a school TOMORROW. Try not to post any more about this until after your first sparring match at an mma school or event, there's really nothing more to say.

Best of luck to you, my friend.

Take a plane to Amsterdam and step into Mejiro gym. You'll get plenty of challenge there.

lol i dunno if you was joking or serius but just to make sure, we both married to different women, and anyways yeah ile look up that gym when im next in holland, ive been to amsterdam once good smokes there. traditional martial artists need to lay of the smoking probably.

and yes im going around to most camps of training in my area looking for a challenge i went to 5 mcdojos in one day and none of there "masters" wanted to fight infront of the students and declined my challenge once i explained myself my intentions and my styles, im gonna go to boxing gyms, jujitsu camps, cage fighters training camps next, they should fight.

lol man what are you talking about, seriously you take me for some kind of rookie?. the rules and gloves do affect the fight i wont give examples but anyone with brains should realise rules and protective gear is not realistic compared to a real fight. secondly i dont know where you got the idea that this kind of protected nonsense is less restrictive than my sparring, me and my training partners have no restrictions, we fight hard we train hard we play hard, no gloves no mouthpiece no nothing, bare chested, bare foot, out int he cold for hours every day full contact training, we cant even call what we do sparring, we fight yes there are dangers to extream training like this but to be frank i dont care, we choose to do it its our lifestyle, and about running my mouth on the net? lol whats that all about this is a martial arts forum right?. there are plenty of fighters who post on here who live nearby, why not ask for a challenge? i see no harm in this im not dissrespecting anyone i love to fight i like the challenge, im good all my life i been training and its not for nothing so i offered a challenge to a group of fighters on here i thought it ws a good idea and chance to fight people from different martiala rts backgrounds, its not my fault no1 here from south of england takes up my challenge was worth a try though

I suggested that in the 2nd post in the thread, either Thai Bri is a very slow reader, or he recognizes the fearsome power of gong fu

was that a joke about the police stations? sorry im tired not catching onto sarcasm tonight, been training alot and staying awake fasting, trying to push past a few minor limitations of sleep deprevation. (you never know when your gonna be held captive while sleep deprevation tactics are bestowed upon you, havign to fight your way out with no food in your system no sleep and drained having to summon energy from elsewhere to continue fighting on).

                            it might happen?

Here's a simulation of what it might be like to face enemies in the face of sleep deprivation

You seemed surprised that people thought it unreasonable to let someone back up after knocking or taking him down, rather than continuing the fight on the ground with submissions or ground and pound. So I suspect you're not used to full contact fights that allow grappling and groundwork. The difference between gloves and no gloves, cup or no cup, mouthguard or no mouthguard is NOTHING compared to the difference between fights that are permitted to go to the ground and those that just allow stand up work. So no, you really aren't used to sparring and training in rules with as little restriction as modern mma.

I also find it unlikely that you're doing a lot of full contact sparring that allows shots to the face without gloves or mouth guards. If you're doing a serious job of it, you'd likely have few teeth by now and lose a lot of training time do to broken hands.

What exactly is it you want to do in a sparring match with a local fighter that you can't do wearing a cup, a mouth guard, and 4 ounce, fingerless gloves that give you full freedom to grab and grapple?

You still haven't stopped by an mma gym. If you can't outbox, out wrestle, or submit a fighter there, it's unlikely things will go better for you against them if you take away what limited rules there are. Go there and see what we're talking about, then tell us how it went so we can have something worthwhile to talk about.
