UFC 56: bogus fight set ups

I saw the previews for UFC 56:

Matt vs who? that guy who used to be 300 lbs...dropped wieght and then couldnt even cut it in KOTC? Now suddenly he has a title shot? What the hell? The "diesel" is going down and I'm calling it. This is like Dana putting Carlos Newton up against Matt, it's going to be a cake and ice cream fight for Matt. Don't get me wrong I think Carlos is a great fighter, but he's a 50/50 fighter, not a consitant winner. I just think that Matt should be given a run for his money not crap like this.

Ummmm. You should mabye do some more research before opening mouth bro. Carlos Newton fought Matt and lost a very controversial decision there first fight. In fact Matt was in a come from behind situation when the knockout occured. So to say there second fight was set to be a "cake and cie cream fight" is just plain stupid.

Dude Carlos can't hold his own against matt. And matt slammed him down cuz carlos fights like a monkey.
Carlos had matt in a weak triangle when Matt just picked him up with sheer strength and slammed him. Easy win for Matt.

PS carlos is one of my absolute favorite UFC fighters. But I don't think he's world class and I've seen almost every one of carlos's fights. so shut ur mouth.

champ, my sparring partner picks me up all the time when i have him in triangles or armbars, you start to crank and then comes the slam. Carlos said himself he lost the fight cuz he let go of the fence. He said he felt like to much of a good boy when he let go. But hey man thats just me and what I've read on UFC.tv and the interviews with carlos i've watched or downloaded. All I gotta say is if that fight had been on concrete Carlos would be dead.
