What a fight!
Sanchez is good no doubt, but he did not ground and pound Diaz.
The judges were a joke, at least a split decision!
BYW,
It's almost futile that any of those guys will fight Matt Hughes.
Matt's a freak of nature and will control the title for a long time.
I doubt deigo can even beat Frank Trigg or Carlos Newton.

Newton fights at 185 now, and I think Trigg and Hughes are too good for him still so it would be quite some time for Diego to be ready for them. Diego won, hands down, he dictated where the fight was fought, he got all the takedowns, passed the guard a few times, had the back, did some gnp and had the nearest sub with the armbar from guard. Diaz showed good jiujitsu, but it just wasn't enough.

agreed....diaz had a very active guard constantly going for subs/sweeps but none were sunk in good enough to win him the fight.
