I missed most of the first season of TUF so I haven't seen very much of Diego. I have seen allot of Nick and I must say I am extremly impressed. I can't imagine Diego's ground and pound doing much to a jui jitsu guy who hasn't even needed to SHOW his full BJJ potenial yet because he keeps knocking people the F out.

Does Diego even stand a chance?

When does Nick get a title shot?

diaz has excellent strikes and has an excellent sub game but his subs from his bac in mma are not that good.He's a brown belt now btw and sub black belts all the time but that was in pure grappling.....diego has excellent takedowns and trains for his 170lb fights with 230lb guys who are pretty damn good.If diego can get past the striking range and into grappling range and get the takedown i dont see diaz submitting him.Diego needs to maintain top control in order to win by either tko or dec.....If not then diaz will def ko him on the feet.Its a fight so anything can happen and im dying to see what diego is really made of..should b a great fight i cant even pick a winner.

anyways if deigo takes down nick it's not gunna be about his subs i don't think, it's his escapes and reversals that would take the forfront in a situation with an extreme ground and pounder like diego. Does diego has escapes and reversals as good as someonlike like carlos newton, he's got the best escapes and reversals i've ever seen. Can nick do stuff like carlos? because i've never seen nick put in a situation like he's gunna be put in with diego.

no problem....diaz has been tested by top ten ranked fighters while diego has not.....the thing is though diego might be great or he might not we will find out.Just because you fight lackluster opponents dose not mean you are lackluster....diego has utterly dismantled everyone in his path with the greatest of ease so he might just be as good as the hype but we will find out soon enough

I like Nick alot. He is awesome. But, seeing that he is a purple belt and Diego is a Black, the fights going to the ground where Diego will GNP or submit Nick. As much as I like Nick and will be rooting for him, I think he is overmatched against Diego, and I dont like Diego AT ALL. IF nick wins, it will be in the 1st round. Else Diego submission round 2.
I have to look at the Odds also, you guys think Diego is the underdog??Omg, I hope the odds makers do too....
