why in the world did they show the ENTIRE fujita x yvel fight, but then did highlights of newton x johil and skipped round 1 of kerr x igor, etc??? fujita is so boring to watch, absolutely no talent, just a ton of strength and a hard head. that was one of the lamest fights ever.

ricardo almeida looked really good, he does it all, including very effective striking. he'll be the next to watch if pride keeps him. shoji sure loves to take a huge beating.

kerr seems to have lost everything, he appears to have no heart anymore.

heath herring looks effective, but needs to buy some bigger shorts for next time.

do not like silva at all after the henderson fight. someone needs to put him back in line.

ryan gracie has got to be the most explosive fighter on the scene right now. he's not coming in there to dance around, goes right at it full force.

I like Silva, I've heard with the "illegal knee" if you watch the knee in slow motion, henderson lifts one of his hands prior to the knee.

Dont know though, Im getting a copy of it on Monday. And those stomps seem very brutal, its it true Silva was laughing throughout the stomp?

yes silva was laughing the whole time. henderson sure did mess his face up though! I guess what I don't like about silva is his obvious attempt to seriously hurt someone. I mean those leaping face stomps are very brutal. I thought the fight was going to be stopped, silvas eyes was completely closed and swelled bigger than anything I had seen before.

        Pride 12

Unfortunately Pride 12 was ranked as one of the most boring Pride events ever. Igor vs Kerr, Fujita vs Yvel, Newton vs Oliviera, and Shoji vs Ameilda. These were too evenly matched up or the fighters respected each other too much. In my opinion the best fight of the night was Henderson vs Silva. What a battle!!!Also the Inoue vs Herring fight was action packed but the referee had to ruin it by stopping it to fast. The armlock looked much more brutal than the knees.

I want my 24.99 back, this was the sorriest fighting show I've ever seen, the ref was the whole problem, they gotta kepp standing these boneheads up, Vanderlei checksmoked danny henderson, then they skipped through the whole thing. I would rather watch UFC any day over pride. Gilbert yvel is a pimp in my book, fujita is a big old coward scared of lettin go

yeah tell me about it, almeida looked awesome and that was an action packed fight. also, the newton x johil fight looked good from the highlights. it was fujita x yvel that REALLY stunk up the show.

Sorry guys, maybe I was a bit tired when I posted. You're right Shoji vs Almeida was a good fight. My mistake.

Leave poor Fujita alone! He'd cream all of us.

Give the guy some credit, he has hung in there with some of the best, Coleman, Vovchanchin etc... He also beat Mezger and Ismail. He's abviously not terrible, nobody has been able to finish him. I think he would take out a lot of middleweights in the UFC, Eugene Jackson, Bitetti, Andrade, and some others.

yeah but there's always something with fujitas big wins. with kerr it was the blood sugar problems, with ken he gassed out, then with yvel he does nothing and stalls for a win. it's not like he is out there convincingly beaten the big names. when he knocks out or submits some of the top then I will have some respect.

Tuffguy who the hell are you talking about? Fujita doesn't fit that description.

                              Patterson,

I think he is talking about Shoji Akira. I didn't know he beat Metzger, though.

I hate Pride's editing. They often cut good fights and keep bad fights in their entirety. It also sounds like they got their audiences confused. Leaving the whole Fujita fight in for the Japanese makes sense. He's a star here. But they need to do a different edit for the US audience.
