I am really diving into martial arts and loving ever second of it. However, I want to get MORE involved but I find it hard. Here is what I'm doing now: BJJ/MT for 2.5 hours every week or two with Mat Santos Fighting Academy, Reading books on wrestling/boxing/JKD/judo/bjj/ect... when I can, posting on this board and trying to inform other while getting better perspective myself, going to wrestling practices pretty much daily, grappling with my friends on carpet whenever we get some time, hitting the bag every once in a while (its frozen solid rightnow and it kills when I hit it, but I'm getting a speedbag soon for indoors **BONUS QUESTION FOR 500$!!!: Is a speedbag a valid way to improve your timing/speed, and is it only good for western boxers?**), I'm also taking 5 Animals in the back yard of some old dude, who is qualified and teaches some cool stuff I never get to learn in my sportive martial arts, but some of it seems a bit impractical, I also roll around with some older college kids about once a week when we get mat time, I learn there from a guy who trains with santos and is a skilled MMA fighter/URI student, I occasionally teach the sessions when he is not around, I am also try to join a kickboxing place that is closer to my college that santos, I'm getting a free class somewhere locally next week, I hope it's valid and not BS kempo.
Anyways, I end up with some time on my hands between the 2 basic things in my life right now: SCHOOL/ MARTIAL ART (parties here and there I'm not gunna lie) and I would love some advise on getting more involved and increasing my learning and develping even just a little bit!!!!!
THANK YOU!
