Lets face facts here guys. No matter how hard you train, youre not in a Jet Li movie. A flashy kick or disarm move probably WONT work. My thing is, avoid those situations, some one wants my wallet, give it to him and report it to the police. No need getting killed over 80 dollars and a condom. If it does come to fighting though, I try to get them down so I can run to a place with people, guy could have a knife or gun in his pocket, who knows?

Multiple attackers seem to be the worst in my area, there I ALWAYS give up my wallet and yeah. Im a good fighter, but no. I can take on someone one on one, but in groups or with weapons, I wouldnt want to try. Hope im never thrown into too many of those, only been in one but it didnt end too bad.

That's probably one of the most honest posts I've read in some time! As you say "let's face the facts here" the most important thing a martial artist (or anyone else) should know is his/her own limitations. Realistically speaking...

Basically, I can summarize my street experience as "sucker punches, ambushes, multiple attacks, weapon attacks and evasion" Not much more that I can talk about in public.

I agree with you guys completely on avoiding the situations completely. I'm still going to learn knife training and disarms. If I had the choice I would do anything possible to avoid that. But if you have to, break the fucker's elbow.....
