Robin Hood, most people couldn't read that post because of all the spelling errors. It is typical that someone who is against the Gracies is also very unintelligent. Rickson does want to fight Sakuraba. But Pride is afraid of the fight and won't let him do it. I think Sakuraba may be telling Pride he doesn't really want the fight as well. Rickson will fight anyone. Rickson wasn't alive in 1908 so I don't know what your talking about. But Mr. Trigg, whose whole reputation is based on this match, was very lucky against Rickson. Rickson did not know the rules of the match, if he did he would not have allowed himself to be thrown. Even so, if the match were allowed to go on he would have submitted Trigg in seconds. You are obviously jealous of the Gracies.

For a styart I dont make spelling mistakes. The odd typo every so ofen does not meen its a spelling mistake.
If Rickson wasn6t around in the 1980s then how do you explane why I see him in the Gracie in Action tapes with his brothers? Also wen he fort Sulu it was in the 1980s so you are rong my fine fethered frend.

You know, 1908 and 1980 are actually different years. He was around in the 80's and he took on all comers and was the champion as he still is today. Rickson entered a sambo competition because he is a great competitor that likes to test himself in other areas. Do you see the best sambo player in the world (other than Rickson) entering sport jiu-jitsu? No.Comment

Igor Yakimoto is the world Sambo champignone and he is also a world champion in Judo also. he dosent seem to have a problem understaning the diferent rules. Unlike that nogoodnik Rikcson.Comment

I agree Angel of spain accept for one thing.
Frank Shamrock was not with the Lines Den when he fight Tito. He left the Lines Den a long long time before he fight Tito. If he had still bean with the Den Tito would have easily beet him. It was Franks traning with Morris smith that helped him beet the Tito.

Rickson's disrespect for Sak means Rickson actually respects him. It's too obvious what Sak has done in the NHB world for Rickson to really ignore him or say that Sak is average, and all he does is wait for openings.
It's true that is Sak's style - he's patient. But he's submitted many good fighters. Rickson is jealous of Sak and won't give him his due.Comment

Judo and Sambo are practicaly the same thing. Yakimoto doesn't feel the need to challenge himself and enter competitions like Sport Jiu-Jitsu. Rickson does this and is a true warrior.Comment

This interview for me proves that rickson has lots of confidence, and is not in the least bit scared of sak. All you sak worshippers, and Gracie hater will jump and say that "he is scared, he is scarred!!" but I don’t see it that way. Think about it. His answer on retirement wasn't at all shady or vague. It was "NO". He said he doesn’t' feel pressure to fight sak. He said that his thing on fighting was money(first) location(second) and last opponent. That says a lot. To me he is saying that a sak fight is very possible, while he is saying that sak is not a great fighter. This kind of confidence rubs a lot of you the wrong way.
Rickson's mentality is beyond the scope of a lot of you idiots. If some of you had 1/8 of his skills, you've cashed in on your talents years ago. Do actually think rickson was dodging fighter of Fred Etishe's caliber back when mma first started. He didn’t care that much then, and he doesn’t care that much now. He fights who he wants, and when he does, he beats them. He doesn’t need the us television coverage, fresh fights against fresh young opponents for you keyboard worries' approval. It doesn’t matter because he could 10 saks in one night, if he doesn’t remain 110% active, you punks would start the smack again in seconds.
You gracie haters should just go back to karate, wrestling or whatever rock you crawled from under and NEVER EVER practive bjj again.
