Butterbean in the K-1

In the past, it has been debated whether or not world class boxers such as Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, or Lennox Lewis could beat the top guys in K-1 or Muay Thai under Muay Thai rules. I will go one step further and say that I believe Butterbean could win the K-1 or the Heavyweight Muay Thai Kickboxing Championship in Thailand. Look at the way he pummels even boxers. When you consider the fact that 99% of the damage done in Kickboxing is done with the boxing aspect of the art, I could really see this happening. It just seems to me that whenever I watch Kickboxing, an attempted kick usually misses and gets the person attempting it in trouble because it leaves them vulnerable. Has anyone in the history of Kickboxing ever won 99% of his matches with head kicks?

For that matter, what about Tank Abbot in the K-1? He knocked Maurice Smith down. Smith could not do anything against Tank in the stand-up part of the fight until Tank got tired. As for Smith being past his prime in Kickboxing, Tank isn't much younger.

Well when you talk about butterbean you talk of a guy who only fight jobber so he can win, u know it I know it and butter know it. Butter if he face a guy whit a little bit of skill and endurence Butterbean will have a lot of trouble and thats a fact. I think Tank could be great in k1 he have prove that he got some cardio and endurence, he's one great puncher he got a good chin but he also got good knee strike, so a k1 bout between Tank and butter I go Tank all the way, Just my opinion.

I would like to see Tyson or Lennox Lewis in K-1.

Mike Bernardo does okay in K-1 (some nice kayoes) and he is basically a power puncher.

Have you ever watched K1 ? Butterbean and Tank ??? I think butter would be chopped down within 2 rounds and Tank in less.

If the pros in K1 are getting chopped down at the legs in some bouts, then these guys wouldn't be able to walk for weeks after the fight.

The K1 guys aren't bad boxers either.

Tank ain't no boxer - he's a brawler.
