Hey dudes,
this is my first post.
This I the martial art I study, the vovinam style i similar to hapkido in its application, lots of elbows, joint locks, striking techniques. But what makes Vovinam Vovinam is its leg techniques. Lots of grappling using the legs.

To kill one man is to murder. To kill millions is to conquer. ~ Caesar.
The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of a thousand men is a statistic. ~ Stalin.
instructor level in Red Dragon Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, and Kobudo style martial arts. Studying Muay Thai, Breaking Techniques, and Jeet Kune Do (hard because of my body type haha)
Student, in all styles and in life.
welll i researched it a bit, seems to be like a mix of hapkido and muay thai to be honest, elbows and knees from muaythai, and the quick take downs of hapkido, this looks like a great one on one style, donno about 1 vs 2. the punches are pretty quick as well i hear, much like JKD's concept. thats all i know.

VOVINAM was founded by Great Grand Master Nguyen Loc in 1938 based on ancient Vietnamese Martial Arts. It is not a mixed martial art like somebody think of. Hapkido is a mixed between Japanese and Korean martial arts (rooted by Tibet's Buddhist Monk called Bodidharma).
A History of Hapkido
Here is a short history of VOVINAM which I think the most accurate one:
