Choosing a GI

I don't get hot easily, but I'll think about the Mizuno single weave. The Mizuno Ichiban and Kano are both around 134 or something on a website I visited, is that worth it?

Maybe I'll go for the Mizuno single.

I would definetly go for the single, especially heading into summer, people get hot in their single weave Gi's in the winter, summer could be bad with a double.

My Keiko cost 135 CDN as I think I mentioned, I'm not sure what the shipping or whatever on yours wil be, 135 US, thats not too shabby, I would pay that for a quality gi.

BJJ gis are cut differently that judo gis. Bjj gis generally have more tapered and snug fitting sleves, thicker colars, shorter gi top skirts, more tapered pants, and are generally tighter fitting. Judo gis are fine for bjj class or competition. The reverse is not true. Most BJJ gis would not be allowed in judo competition.
