Does anyone think martial arts movies will be influenced by MMA in the sense that future action stars will portray more well rounded fight scenes?
Before, most martial arts movie stars were mainly strikers like Bruce,Norris and Van Damn. But with the popularity of the UFC & Pride audiences have become accustomed to seeing more well rounded fighters and now have an idea of what "real" fighting should look like. If you remember from Chuck's Walker Texas Ranger show,in many of the fight scenes he started using more grappling along with his Tang So Do style. So will the next Hollywood martial arts star look more like Matt Hughes and less like the Chuck Norris we saw in his 80's movies?
