  • Are you a cocky fighter?

When you fight or before you fight, do you talk trash or taunt your opponents? What do you think about that kind of behavior in general? Do you think for some people, it can help their confidence in a fight?

I think it sucks (although it has been amusing to watch Tito make even more of a fool of Ken Shamrock than he does on his own).

One of the classic quotes of the year was from Royce Gracie - "What does he have that he can possibly beat me with." ha ha ha ha

Keep your mouth shut. When you talk crap and lose you just look like a fool (aka. Ed Herman)

In saying that, I do not fight competitively. That is just a rule I follow in life.

lol you sight Ed Herman as an example but what crap did he really talk.

He said he was the best on the show and Tito should have picked him before anyone else.

At the onset of the show he was much better than Kendall (and everyone else except Kalib in the MW division). Therefore at the start of the show, he should have been picked over Kendall, not shittalking, truth.

I wanted Kendall to win but actually thought he won that fight, Kendall came much closer to finishing on numerous occasions but for the most part Ed was the dominant, more consistent fighter, Ed was laying on a beating for the whole fight, Kendall just had a few great moments IMO.

Also, there are alot more people who have spoken alot more trash, (did Ed really speak that much trash other than the norm, "oh yeah I think I'm gonna beat him in this way") and lost in much much much worse ways. So why use Ed as an example?
