Where are the Real Men? ("OFF-TOPIC")
First of all, nobody complain about this thread. There are LOTS of off-topic threads on this board, not all of them started by me. You don't have to read it.
Now:
Y'know it's funny, I think I got more respect on this board when I was a newbie than I do now. 2000 posts later you'd think I'd have some pull around here, wouldn't you? I'm sure I can imagine most of the rebuttals. Spare me. I made a post about a year ago called "A Call for Civility". Anyone remember that one? Before you start flaming me about it, at the time I was praised by such diverse figures as Tim Mousel, Pit Dog, and Atomic for providing a guideline for conduct on the board.
Now, months later, the advice I gave is more relevant than ever and long-time Forum-members like bobby_steeles and Mr. Miyagi are basically calling me a whiny bitch for daring to criticize the Master Troll, What's Inside a Girl?
To those of you who think I lack a sense of humor, the irony is not lost on me. Obviously the dwindling level of civility on the Forum has taken most of my supporters away, and with it my credibility. Oh well. The fact is, WIAG who is probably Shimora, is the most obnoxious, cancerous troll since THE DON. You remember; the one even Pit Dog and Hawk were ready to physically assault? WIAG has made many of you his bitches, afraid to even open your mouths for fear of reprisal. So instead, you lash out at me for actually having the balls to stand up to his filth. Good job, guys. You flunk "Enemy Recognition". Go back to sweeping the mats.
Look, I don't support whole-sale banning of respected Forum-members, but WIAG is a worthless troll who does nothing but spread lies and hate for his personal amusement. He has expertly infiltrated our ranks and turned us against each other, along with his many aliases. I give him credit: he is a superb evil troll. But what I find most pathetic is how many of you defend him and kiss his ass. I'm sorry you were offended by the icky personal details of my life: but no more so than I was when they were thrown back in my face. Any one of you with an ounce of self-respect would have gone ballistic, as I did. If you don't see that, then maybe it's because you weren't the ones being attacked. It's hysterical to see someone else suffer, but not as funny when it's you, eh fellas?
You guys don't have to like me, but at least appreciate what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to save the Forum that many of us love, and at least one of us hates. I'm trying to save one of the first and best BJJ/MMA Forums in the history of the Internet. I was just over checking out Thingvold's. You know, I can't really tell the difference anymore? We are living in troll hell. Most of the old posters are gone.
When are you guys going to do something about it? I can't do it alone.
Stop crossing your fingers and holding your breath, and speak up for God's sake.
