Hi all, I have question i was hoping someone can help me with. I have a shooting pain on the outer part of my elbow whenever i do a curl, a reverse curl, or use my arm in a motion similar to an arm wrestling motion. Most people I talk to seem to think this is tennis elbow, but nobody knows how to releive the pain. I last trained in bjj over a year ago and i wanted to get back, but with this pain i am feeling in my dominant elbow I dont think i could grab people and hold them. Unfortunately in bjj i mostly relied on power because I am not fast or agile. I dont think I will ever be quick and fast and to be honest my technique kinda sucked, but i was able to get by in class by overpowering alot of the smaller guys. Now that I have this pain in my elbow I cant even do a 25lb curl without feeling alot of pain. I dont have insurance and I dont really like going to the doctors so I am open to your suggestions on how to cure this pain. I was thinking of doing high reps low weight curls but dont know if this will make it worse.
