from the mount,, put your right hand on the guys right bicept, lift it up, slide your left knee underneath his armpit, keep your crouch against the arm pit area while lifting and spinning and stepping over the head, fall back, keep it tight and waa laa, easy as 1 2 3, and it wont slip out

Because of the sweat & lack of grips, the no gi game is more reliant on surprise/fast moves rather than gi stuff which often has progressive steps all 'under control'.

You need to be fast & tight without a gi. Also try to control the elbow if you can, that way, if the arm slips out a little, you can still hyperextend for the armbar.

From the mount I like to grab his right wrist with my right hand & pull his arm across his face (pushing on his tricep with my left hand help too). I slide my left arm under his neck & feed his right wrist to my left hand. At this point the guy is pretty screwed. I like to push him onto his left side when I do this so I can get my legs very tight around him.

From there I feed my right arm through, hooking his right arm, while starting to post up on my right foot so I can spin my left leg around for the arm bar.

Either way, once you start to sweat alot of my submission attempts slip out. Its easier with the gi.

one other thing lets say u have the armbar right, but then the guy has really strong arms so he can get off his back and stack you, is there a way to stop that from happening??? and thanks for the replies

Why not try for the Spider Web....its a method of getting the Armbar by locking your legs over the opponents shoulders so you can beter control him and grabbing his hamstring and sweeping him over and then applying the armbar.(Lots of guys try and stack you and it's actually easier to sweep them because you use your momentum against them.)Other then that you can just grab his hamstring and sweep him over or hold him in place while you get the standard Armbar from the guard.

From the mount, I like to smash my opponents face, and when Im on my back , to survie. The guard. I can submit, but when iv been in MMa bouts, it never happend for me. I hate looking for submission on top, and hover mount over and pound him out, but thats just becuase of a gap in my game.

do u guys think the armbar from the guard is harder to pull off or the mount? I think the guard is harder because he is on top of u and he can stack you. Also If you mess up then you cna get passed and be in sidecontrol

I think guard is easier...most guys who have a clue how to defend wont extend their arms when mounted. They keep them close to their body to protect against the arm bar or choke. I have an easier time choking or getting the kimura from mount than the armbar.

If your grappling a bigger guy then it's def harder to get an armbar from the guard then the mount....however as time goes on and you get beter you will be able to Chain Movements sweeps and submissions together and catch alot of people off guard....depending on there exp level of course.
