I'm glad the clip of him hitting his opponent after the ref stopped the fight was included. Gomi is very talented but it was one of the poorest displays of sportsmanship I've seen in PRIDE.

Not really....in the fight against Luiz Azerado,Azerado was getting the better of the exchanges with wild punches and jumping and spinning kicks then Gomi turned up the heat and they battled and Gomi was just in fight mode landing a solid 1-2 dropping Azerado and making sure the job was finished.He was really into it and didnt realize what he had done(remember when people say they got pissed and blacked out well basically thats what happened.)He right away appologized to Luiz and all of Chute Boxe and everything was forgiven and forgoten.Now Don Frye vs Gilbert Yvel takes the cake as poorest dispaly of Sportmanship in Pride....in all of MMA Gilbert Yvel did some crazy stuff like KO a ref!

When the referee stops the fight and is pulling you off your defenseless opponent, there is no excuse to continuing to strike him.

Hey to each his own,however check out the Yvel vs Frye fight...DQ win for Frye there were tons of Lowblows Headbutts Rope grabbing and eye gouging! i think thats a shit load more unsportsman like than Gomi.Be sure to check out the brawl after the Shogun Coleman fight!
