And now that Wanderlei just got KTFO and injured, his chances of them coming to an agreement are even less now. Silva MIGHT be fighing at Real Deal but will definetly be defending his title after that event against the #1 middleweight contender, Arona, or he might be fighting Vitor Belfort again. Besides, i dont even care anymore about Liddell/Silva happening.

^ Good point. This a recent article about Liddell/Silva...
The Houston Chronicle website has an interesting post about the Silva vs. Liddell situation. According to the UFC President, Dana White, because of the way Wanderlei was knocked out by Mirko Cro Cop during Pride Open Weight Grand Prix final roudm, the duel between Pride middleweight Champion and The Iceman won't happen any time soon.
"It kind of defeats the purpose now. The guy just got, literally, destroyed. They're (PRIDE) still saying we can do a fight in November. They can't do a fight in November. The athletic commission would put them on suspension for 90 days. The guy got knocked out cold. First, he got beaten to death, then he got knocked out cold. There's no way the guy could fight again in a month and a half. Plus, he just lost". says White.

I cant believe Dana White has the nerve to say Silva "got beaten to death, then knocked out cold", wtf, beaten to death!?!?!

For the record, before silva even fought cro cop is sounded like Liddel didn't even want to fight him... After the last UFC when they asked Liddel about fighting Silva he didn't have much to say about it. He talked more about fighting Tito then Silva....
So the UFC probably didn't have serious plans to make the fight happen anyway. Dana wouldn't want his champion to get spanked.
