why do you even talk? you dont know anything. the fact that most all diseases happen in the colon, and the fact that this dosnt deprive you of water becuase its not store bought turbo lax just means you dont have a clue what the hell your talking about. i dont think i need to explain myself your just dumb.
i never had to cut weight and spit into cups because i wasnt completely oblivious about how the body works and what it needs. no one needs your negative comments becuase they are useless.

dude you are so arrogant its rediculous. i have had to cut weight, and i have been over weight and its not fun when your coach rips you a new one. from then on i decided i didnt want to look like a loser in the lunch table, having a cup of spit in and nothing to eat. your probably really short because of it and the envy of all the anorexic girls in the school. its funny how you know nothing and think your always right. i can tell that you have never done any reasearch and are just pissed when people are right and bring up more effective ways with dealing with things. and all this time your sitting there in your rubber suit starving and crying the the fetal position.
yes there are many ways to cut weight. if people knew how to do it right they would have more endurance and they wouldnt have to worry about there weight so much.

Wow, you people like to go at each other’s throats! While I may be a Martial Arts noob, I am no stranger to the ways of health and fitness, and may be able to help you out rev.jc. My advice to you is to double, or get as close to doubling your cardio as you can. If you do interval cardio, add road jogging. If you do road jogging, add interval cardio, because not only will interval cardio help build up your anaerobic fitness, but it keeps your heart rate up longer because your heart rate reaches a higher rate. Also, if you do not already do cardio in the morning, start getting up early, because overnight you body has used the fuel provided by the food you ate the night before, and when you exercise in the morning, your body burns stored glycogen and you will end up burning more fat than later in the day.
Second and most important of all is nutrition. Nutrition is 80% of bodybuilding and that is exactly what you are trying to do. What I would recommend is brown rice and steamed broccoli. Believe it or not, carbs are not your enemy, just starchy carbs. Brown rice is one of the best sources of complex carbohydrates you can find. Just get a bag of it from the grocery store; not the boxed stuff, I’m talking about a bag of plane brown rice that you put in a rice cooker. Remember though, when it comes to carbs you want to eat them early in the day; the rice will give your body good clean energy, but you have to burn it or it will turn to fat. As a rule of thumb, do not eat carbs after 9:00pm, although I would suggest 3:00pm just because you are trying to cut fast. You can eat it by itself with some hummice to help it taste better, or eat it with the broccoli. Steamed broccoli is one of the better vegetables that you can eat for loosing weight. In addition, you can get some canned veggies like green beans or corn to help break it up. Try to eat more veggies than fruit because fruit tends to have a lot of sugar that will turn to fat in a hurry. As far as meat goes, restrict yourself to grilled chicken. Chicken is very lean and has great protein, which will help you maintain muscle mass while you are cutting. Eat the chicken with broccoli for dinner. Try not to smother the chicken with sauce that will have fat in it, just use mustard. Another great source of protein is low fat cottage cheese and “egg beaters.” Eat this for breakfast to make sure you get protein early in the day. One more tip on eating is to eat smaller meals throughout the day so that your metabolism is always working. Eat six smaller meals instead of three square. Drink a lot of water to help you feel full and to make sure you hydrate well, you will be doing a lot of cardio. While you are cutting, stay away from Gatorade or other energy drinks, they have calories that you do not need right now. If you are not on track to make weight after a week of this diet, it might be time to try something drastic for the last week. The cabbage soup diet will drop weight very fast (look it up online). I did it in high school when I wrestled, but just a warning, you will be very irritable.
The day before you weigh in is going to be the hardest. At any given time, you have 45-60 lbs of water in your body just sitting there, and you want to sweat out as much of that as you can without replacing it. So dehydrate the day before the weigh in. After you make weight, drink a ton of Gatorade to replace your electrolytes, and maybe even get a packet of that electrolyte gel that marathon runners use (couple dollars a pack I think) for the fight. Make sure to eat a lot of good complex carbohydrates after the weigh in and up till the fight so you have energy.

Hahaha. Anyways me and jubaji are having a friendly conversation thats all. Their are many ways to loose weight, maybe trying every suggestion might work. Everyone is different.
the brandon ruiz article was great, also thank you for your nutrution advice, I weigh in again tommorow, and currently I am doing the 1/2 hour 3 layered 1/2 hour 2 layered and 1/2 hour stripped it is my goal to be 165 tommorow morning, the article was great, thanks!
I made 158 the day before thanksgiving, then some moron brought her kids to church with bacterial Pnemonia, we got my kids on amoxicillian as soon as they had symptoms & my wife & I got on antibiotics a week later, unfortunatly I am currently still having deep congestion in my lungs, I weighed 164 yesterday, any one got a quick decongetant to clear my sinuses, drug store stuff not working, I am currently using an intesive steamer in my office as I write this!
