I was thinking today of the tradegy of Rockson Gracie's death.
I am wondering if a tragedy of this untimely death might reunite the family that has been torn apart by misunderstanding, lawsuits and miscommunications.
I hope that all family members are able to attend memorial services and that handshakes, hugs and kisses lead to more dialogue where there were in recent times, none.
I believe it wasn't that long ago that the whole family got along for the most part and it was only in recent times that there was snubs, hurt feelings, jealousy and resentment.
I also hope as family elder, Helio can bring together the huge family and create a unification, since blood is always thicker than water.
I wonder, what effect Rolls' death back in 1982, had with the whole Gracie family. But it is more the direct line of Helio's sons that there have been such a split. I know that Carley and Rorion had a law suit but there is still much hard feelings with Rorion and the some of the brothers.
If I could see the one positive outcome of this tragedy it would be to mend these wounds. Sometimes it does take a calamity to bridge the gaps within families.
