  • IFL ! This puts ufc to shame!

I know being a pastor & father of 4 & a fighter I some times fall behind the times with things, but this past week I discovered the IFL, how is it this doesn't come up on this sight more often! I absolutely loved it! It is MMA without the professional wrestling wwe type hype of the ufc!

Pure sport type fighting without all the smut & crap, in a ring and without all the stupid smack talking I would watch IFC 10 times before I order a PPV UFC again!

This is the shot in the arm the sport needs, I'm sure I am way behind the times I always am, and i'm sure this is old news, but wow what a concept, the only thing I would change is since it is a team concept I would add points like 1 for a split descision, 2 for a unanimous, 3 for a tko or submission, kind of like duel meet points, anyway great stuff!

Yeh but it still needs some commercialisation done to it to make it more wide spread, I'm not completely sure but i don't think we have access to it here in the UK.

Heh...my kickboxing trainer was offered a shot in the IFL, but he would have had to have maintained a really low weight that he didn't think he could stay at indefinitely. I haven't seen it yet except for being on across a sports bar, but it looks promising.

it is freaking awsome! No yard ape crowd shots like the ufc or stupid bimbos ruining the fights, lots of gracies guys, iowa wrestlers heck when henzo gracie and pat militech are the main event you have a good thing henzo by gulitinne late 2nd round! WoW!

IFL has been on Fox Sports Network(FSN) for quite awhile now. I like it because it gives MMA(not 'ultimate fighting') a good image. Its in a ring, so people understand its like boxing. There's no elbows, so its not a blood bath or 15 minutes of lay n pray. Unlike UFC, the IFL mentions "Mix Martial Arts" alot more than UFC does.
