I think Egan Inoue is a much more of a threat to the middle weight division than anyone thinks. What does everyone think? I look forward to seeing more of him in the future

I was really impressed by how thoroughly Egan dominated Marcelo Tigre with very good standup for the entire 10 minutes of the first round. He continuously punched Marcelo's face with impunity from every angle and Marcelo just took wild swings and never really connected. Keep in mind Egan weighed 194 lbs and Marcelo was 222 lbs or so. Unfortunately, Egan's cardio was shot and he was exhausted for round 2 and he went down hard.
I like Egan too, but I think he'd really need to improve his cardio. But even with this improved cardio I think he'd lose to Sak, Frank Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Vanderlai Silva, Allan Goes, Vitor Belfort, etc.
I think Egan is very good, but isn't he around 35 yrs old or so, maybe pushing 40?

His endurance is his biggest detriment. His Pride fights have been pretty lackluster. Even if his endurance were good, I still don't think he'd be a top contender, unless he improved his standup and became more aggressive with his grappling... in the first few minutes of his fight with Malenko, he wasn't able to do much, and ' gassed' quickly, never holding the upper hand. Looked mediocre at best. Alan Goes on the other hand, subbed Malenko rather quickly in textbook fashion, dominating in every step of the way.
