  • Are YOU serious about being an effective fighter?

If so, you better become a member of The Black Dragon Fighting Society....

Yeah, apparently the site isn't bullshit as in, it actually has members and is somewhat active...

    Thoughts?

Also persons that are expert in the less violent or sports arts such as Karate, Judo, Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, etc., are accepted into the society
That's good of him, but I see he didn't have the balls to invite Masters of Origami, or the Australian art of " Kangeroo's Paw ".

The Secret society teaches the most savage, deadly and terrifying fighting arts known to man
      But not to Kangeroo's !

The exact membership, and training procedures are closely guarded secrets of the members who are sworn to secrecy and joined together through their initiation ceremony of blood.
So secret that they post it on the web !

To this day no kangeroo has ever divulged their secret arts on the internet !

I'd like to see 'Dante' take on Master Bristol (check previous posts to discover more about this Master).

My only question would be, is it for real ?

Yeah, apparently in the 70's he was putting adds in comics for kids to join, calling himself "The Worlds Most Dangereous Man" etc. Dante himself died in 75 in his sleep of "internal hemorrhaging caused by a bleeding ulcer". BUT - the organisation is being carried on by his protege William Aguiar. Read Dante's bio ^_^, it's so full of shit

Really? Seems like he's a fan of alot of CMA...
"The Black Dragon Fighting Society is a world renowned fighting arts organization, dedicated to the fighting systems of Kung Fu Wu Su, Tai Chi Chuan, Chuan-Fa, Kempo, Hsing-Yi, Pa-Kua, Sholin Boxing, Dim Mak and the Dan-te fighting system."

Like, doesn't even mention Muay Thai or Kyokushin or generally any of the styles that you'd refer to as a "hard style" and even includes Dim Mak.... then it goes onto say

"Also persons that are expert in the less violent or sports arts such as Karate, Judo, Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, etc., are accepted into the society only if they have achieved mastery in their field."...

I don't know how you could call Dim Mak and Tai Chi more violent than Judo, some if not all forms of Karate and even Jiu-Jitsu...

Dim Mak is not a style. It is a technique. Saying Dim Mak is more or less violent than Judo doesn't make sense. That is like saying Karate is more violent than punching. The idea of Dim Mak is use in many styles of martial arts. Tai Chi on the other hand is not violent in a way that it is probably not the hardest hitting art. I don't know why anyone would use strictly Tai Chi the ring. But Tai Chi can be incorperated into many styles as a supplement.

Good post. Yeah, that's a fair distinction. And I don't have anything against Tai Chi at all, I have friends who are into it, it was more of an arguement directed at Thai Bri, because he specifically said that "Count Dante" debunked alot of the bullshit around martial arts, so I just pointed out that the styles (or techniques ^_^) that he supported were probably under his "bullshit" category.

The count was DEEP in the Dojo wars of the 70's, at least one death resulted in the raids on bullshit dojo's when he and his students showed up... He was a far cry from todays world of trolls who are afraid to meet anyone they talk trash about
