66 Great Card, What a Upset!

Ok OK so I was wrong, I really thought Tito was going to in, after all that first fight and the finger in the eye thing.
But damn Tito did not look good, props to Chuck!!!

But the total upset to me was Forrest Griffin KO'd in the first round by Jardine!
Holy crap that cost me $100. Oh well,

Anyone got some links to that match, it was freakin nuts!!!

I never saw Griffin as a very high level fighter, lucky yes, but not serious competion for anything major.

Dude Jardine is a bad ass. It was a good fight, a testament to the thick card. Forest seemed to really be getting the best of the exchanges taking good angles ect, but Jardine also appeared to be searching for his range and willing to eat a few before he opened up. Fighters that rely on striking almost exclusively are ripe for upsets because all it takes is a lucky shot. Chuck Liddel being the exception. Wow!! He didn’t even look winded. I thought a few more seconds would have been good for the total closure with Tito but I understand how nervous the UFC has to be about appearances as its popularity and exposure are reaching new heights. I thought the Liben fight was far more of an upset. Dude went out before he tapped though. Got to respect that.

what happened in the arvlowski fight i was in a sports bar type of place with no volume so i didnt know why it was stopped but then he clocked him that was funny stuff but kinda cheap so why was it stopped??

Andreis fight was stopped due to Andrea kicking the guy in the face while they were down. The Ref made the stop and warned him... The ref called time-in, the guy pushed down on andrea's leg and Andrea smashed him in the face. another 20 or 30 seconds the other guy is face down and Andrea is teeing off on his head and face...

I was rooting for Tito... I like chuck but was hoping to see a change at 205.

Forest, I thought for sure he was going to be able to take out Jardine... He got caught, and caught good.

I was rooting for Chuck only because most of the people at Buffalo Wild Wings where I watched it at were rooting for Tito...I thought Chuck would win by making Tito fight his game. He is very good at staying on his feet. Tito looked scared everytime he got in close..then he really looked scared once he would go to the ground and cover up. I thought Tito should have crashed in and worked the tie up position instead of shooting for a single and double leg. Thought the Arvloski fight was good...and was really surprised at how fast Jardine was once he found his range.
