Hey guys. I don't train grappling, so I must ask you if this sort of escape chuck lidell does at the very beginning of this fight when he is mounted, is a somewhat "recommended" way to escape? I have escaped this way when grappling with friends who, like me only know basics, and then it worked. But does it work against a little more experienced grappler, or can he just hold his knees together to prevent that escape?
I have not seen more advanced grapplers pull of this escape though, that's why I'm asking.
