Then he'd better learn fast. Be real funny to see the Iceman use submissions, for once.

    I'd wonder how that'd fare.

Hey guys here is a link to a video of Liddell fighting Guy Mezger back in May of 2001. I don't know if I saw the link in here on another thread or found on youtube on my own. Anyway it looked like a pretty good fight. Mezger was out of gas but landed a good punch on Liddell that sent him to the mat but Mezger could not capitalize on it. After watching this video I noticed that Liddell's boxing really has not changed...by that I mean, he still throws those wide punches from way back and still loads up with the big right hand. If he does fight a good boxer he will be forced to use his submission skills. Would like to see that.

Chuck Lidell via submission early in the first.

Chuck is a D-1 Wrestler, and at least a purple in BJJ, sorry to burst your bubble, but that means the boxer will be tapping in no time.

After reading my last post it sounded as if I do not like Chuck Lidell... so I wanted to kinda clarify that. I DO like Chuck Lidell and think he is a great fighter. I like the fact that he is a good grappler but has been beating everyone standing using strikes. He is a very versatile and well rounded fighter and is very good at remaining on his feet. I think alot of people forget that he has alot of training on the ground as well because he has not gone to the mat in so long. It would be really great to see him fight someone who is equally good or better at the standup game than he is so we will get to see him use submissions.
