I just wish they would have shown more fights. I counted like an hour of PURE FILLER. And that was before they showed the main event. The filler consisted of basically replaying the UFC 68 countdown show. Oh and the commercials. Whatever, i watched it for free, and i can tell you, unbiasly, that it was a below average show, except for the Couture fight.

I agree Samurai. but its not so much the mismatches that are upsetting its just that the few fights that are broadcasted usually turn out lackluster. Hell, they even managed to turn the last Cro Cop fight to an un-interesting bout.

Whatever though, UFC has a great fighters too, but the show that they put on isnt nearly as good as Pride's. thats all. Enough of this ufc vs pride talk.

        Couture will win IMO.
They didnt manage to turn it into an uninteresting fight, Eddie Sanchez did, and I dont blame him. I blame the other people who wouldnt fight CroCop, (I'm sure someone was asked before sanchez) like a vera (who I like) or others, who didnt want to fight him.

If I get put into a fight with Fedor, and run away from him for four minutes to avoid the mauling, does that mean Pride made a fedor fight boring.

AMERICA **** YA!!! (and im canadian)

really just Randy Couture **** ya... if you read my signature which has been around since Couture/lidell 3, you'll note that I was very displeased when Randy lost, and now, am very pleased that he won.

Man Couture is the fucking man

And let me guess, the Koscheck part in your sig was right after TUF 1 when you first discovered mma?

So was it just me or was there a particularly Christian theme compared to other ones? I missed 67 and had to watch 66 with the sound off while god awful dance music was playing, so it's hard to compare.

No, the koschek thing came after his fight with Drew Fickett, you might know how that fight ended if you didnt start watching right after TUF 3.... nub...

Second, I discovered MMA/UFC on Kazaa watching Randy Couture knock the shit out of everyone.. Chuck, Vitor, Tito, etc...

Plus all the fights they had with each other, oh and then theres that whole MMA thing that I do that also impacted it a bit... yeah... might have something to do with it.

I though it was a great UFC. I would give it a 7 1/2 - 8 on a scale of 10 in MMA fight cards.

Speaking of first UFC... I think the first one I watched was Militech vs Newton, but I think that was also the liddell randleman/shonie serra fight...??? Maybe. I think Randy fought in it too. It was a while ago lol I was only 12-13 and Im not quite sure of the details but I remember being hooked after that UFC.

Randy Couture is absolutely amazing- it would be impressive for someone to do what he does in his 20s, but he's 43. He must be a freakin' immortal.

I became hooked after the second Chuck/Randy fight took place.
