  • Good BJJ instructional DVD's?

Can anyone tell me any good instructional BJJ dvd's/series?

    Thanks

Can't go wrong with any of these: Saulo Ribeiro set and Marcelo Garcia set. If you haven't had any BJJ training, I suggest getting the gracie basics/intermediate and forget the advanced ones.

From beginner through to intermediate check out Roy Harris' stuff

For intermediate - what Blitz said. I also like Mario Sperry's stuff too. They're available here https://www.groundfighter.com/index.asp

Agreed. I have BJJ 101 and 201 and they're great.

In my humble opinion I'd recommend the Saulo Ribeiro set. Logical, easy to follow and brilliantly explained. The Jacare DVD is also good.

For all round MMA I'd suggest the Randy Couture set. Excellent conditioning and MMA drills.

What level of experience do you have? If your just starting out I would recommend Caesar Gracie's DVD instructional and also probably the best bang for your buck. If your intermediate to advance get the one that everybody else recommended.

All three of Saulo's sets are great.

Gustavo Machado's great escapes DVD is awesome.

Luis Palahares has a great DVD (low production value)

Emal Easton and Helio Soneca's "High Percentage Side COntrol Attacks" is pretty good.

Ronaldo "Jacare" Dos Santos's DVD is one of my favorites

Marcello Garcia has some good stuff.

I haven't been disapointed by anything from Stephen Kesting yet

And Fabio Gurgel does great work

Sheesh, there's a ton of great stuff out there.

Wow, thanks for the info, guys.

I half-expected a "wow, you're so stupid for asking a question" type response, but I'll check some of these out.

Amal's, Soneca's, and Palahares' DVDs are all available through Practicalgrappler.com and, while the production value is not that good, the information is really decent and the price is excellent IMO for the information you are receiving.

The Gracie Academy www.gracieacademy.com sell really simple instructionals if you're just beginning. If you're not a beginner, then I'd recommend any of Saulo's.
