Kimbo is training with Alexis Villa (96 olympic bronze medalist - Freestyle wrestling) in the Freestyle Fighting Academy.

Mercer is training with Joe Diamond who is:

Gracie Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Black Belt Instructor awarded 2-2005 from Luiz Palhares (6th degree Black Belt under Rickson). A certified Senior Muay Thai Instructor under Sakasem Kanthawong 2004.

Kimbo probably has power and strength over Mercer; Mercer, even at his age probably has slightly better conditioning/stamina, a better chin from his experience as a pro-boxer.

This is going to be an interesting fight, either way.
