Forum Fight Challenges: Has it ever really happened?

Reading through a few of these posts, I see that people are still challenging each other to real fights. Just wondering if anyone knows if one has ever really happened? A famous one from awhile back was Gary from the Torrance Gracie Academy and Sprawl whom I think was from the Washington area. This never occurred and I don't think any ever have.

Just idol curiousity.

Fabrizio De Santo took on some challenger from the forum - JiuJitsu Killer?? and whipped his ass. I don't remember exactly how it went down but Fabrizio kicked the dude's legs mercilessly.

I remember that Gary-Sprawl incident. I think Gary left the forum after that one. But, what kind of challenge are we talking about here? I mean, if you're just going to have a grappling match isn't that just like sparring? There was a guy with the handle BJJREVOLUTION who got all po'd during a Frank vs Royce debate and he left the forum in a fury. Also, there was the TSUNAMI scandal where some guy claiming to closing in on brown belt wrote long posts about taking the intensive course at Gracie Torrance. Lots of people read his stuff with interest and gave him encouragement. After some guys who were really at the course questioned it the guy disappeared. Apparently there were no purples from Torrance at that point besides just a few people.

i don't think sweep ever did a challenge... maybe grappling only... but not vale tudo.

one i remember was from A LONG time ago... with "Agent Orange" against... I can't remember. buet he apparently whooped him good... the play-by-play was very entertaining.

Who is aloha from hell? I didn't hear it was a hoax, sweepem won by triangle. And Fabrizio let Jiu-Jitsu killer take him down after pummeling him and immediately armbarred the killer.

Young duckman challenged me here after I was his mentor. The young buck felt it was time to challenge the master. I flew to Europe and made it to Amsterdam but duckman went into hiding. I emailed him 3 times but he never responded. The whole time I was in Europe he never posted on the net. The day I get back home he starts to post.
