A new MMA studio is opening up in Macon GA on Riverside Drive, if there is anyone from around here that is interested. I stopped in and talked with the instructors yesterday, and the place seems to be pretty promising. They have (I beleive, but I could be off) about 7k square feet of space:Two matted areas, a half cage, a boxing ring (with heavy bags back there). They say they will be teaching Boxing, Wrestling, BJJ, and Muay Thai; and hope to be opening up in about 3 weeks. It looks like they will be involved with exhibition fights, but they said that they aren't pushy about it, and, that they will train in self defense and have community based seminars (ie: college, military, police, etc. focused). If anyone is interested I will try to have more info up here when I get it.
