From what I've heard Jorge already is in MMA. He fights for Bodog and is currently the belt hholder for his weight division.

He looks maybe 20 lbs lighter and more ripped. Definitely the conditioning. Plus, he's 41 years old and is becoming a pro-fighter - speaks volumes to folks about man's athletic longevity.

What's even more interesting?

Kimbo's story: Here is a man who went to prison. Came out and found a way for himself to make a living and seems to be turning himself away from his past and cleaning himself up (excluding the Bang Bros stuff he does).

On camera and from what the forums say, he seems like a pretty good natured, laid back guy who likes nothing more than a good fight.

I'm not trying to admire the guy, Mike. He's taking steps in the right direction. I think that's what counts.

I'll agree that he may be on the right track as far as getting himself straightened out, but he's still a dirtbag, and far from what I'd call an example. If he ditches the Bang Bros web stuff and really takes fighting seriously, I might revise that assessment.

As it stands, though, I just see a guy who takes fights with guys he knows he can beat, whose crew bitches and whines when it looks like he's coming up short, and who decided that the best way to make a living after going to jail was to show girls getting gang banged online for money. Hardly a role model to fighters or anyone else...

I'm not sure what Kimbos' ties are to Bang Bros - I think he's an actor/bodyguard?

Again, I don't think the guy is a role model but he's making a change. I guess time will tell.

His circumstances seem to be turning for the better. He's fighting Ray Mercer soon; both guys are over 40 and Mercer will prove to be a tough opponent, having been WBO heavyweight champ in 91 and now training heavily in BJJ.
