  • triangle choke escape

    i'm looking for new escapes to triangle choke if you can't posture up. thanks in advance...

    2 That I always go to:
    1) I wrap the inside arm around the nearest leg and lock my hands. Then I sprawl out and post all my weight on that leg. Then you can try to turn sharply in the opposite direction of whatever your inside arm is.
    2)He gets you into the triangle, you take your inside arm and use your hand to post it against his thigh near your neck. Your other arm/hand does the same thing to the other side. From there start working your way out (squeezing your inside elbow out, etc).

        A third hit or miss one that I've been dicking around with is jumping up, and scissoring their body. From there just straighten out and hope his legs loosen.

          i use that escape also. when that escape is done right, you can grab your partner right on top of the foot with each hand, and then sqeeze your legs together. when you do this, take their foot, and paint brush it back twords the outside of their thights, and you have an awsome double leg lock.

          another one i like to use is rather simple.

          the leg that is across the back of your head, drop with all your weight to the ground on that side so their knee is on the floor. with your hand that is crossed in front of you and your free hand, grab that leg anywhere you can get a grip, and pin the knee to the floor as hard as you can, at that exact time explode your head up, as if in a pushup motion, and his legs cannot hold you in.

          sounds a little odd, but try it.

            I saw a Bas Rutten one where you reach up and canopener their head and then sprawll out. I have tried it during training without resistance, but haven't tried it full speed.

              this here could help you esacpe a triangle if you can get to it before you pass out or have your elbow broken.

                Pak sao the thigh, lop sao the opposite ankle, then bite and eye-gouge your way out.
