It's amazing to me how many people in the mma community jumped on the Gonzaga bandwagon after his fight with Mirko. He got lucky in that fight. If Mirko and he were to fight ten times, Mirko would probably win 8 or 9 times. As for Gonzaga tapping Randy, Randy went dead even in a submission grappling match with Jacare and Gonzaga is NO Jacare. Last but not least, conditioning is 75-80% of a fight and it doesn't take 20/20 vision to look at those two and determine who was in shape to go 5x5 min rounds. I'm so glad Randy was able to shut all of you up.

In closing, I thought it was funny how people kept talking about 'wrestling pedigrees' as if wrestling ability remains constant throughout one's lifetime and then GSP was able to take Josh down and stuff a takedown attempt at a key point in the fight. Wrestling is wrestling, wrestling is NOT mma. Josh may've had great td's & td defense in h.s. and college, but he's working with the same 24hr day, 7 day week that every other mma fighter is working with. In order to be a top level mma athlete, he (just like everyone else) has to divide his time up between the different disciplines in order to be competitive. As a result, his td and td defense will suffer. J~

Oh please, Randy got lucky he bumped his head when he was doing the takedown. I was rooting for Randy but damn don't talk shit about Gonzaga, he showed us an awesome fight, those head kicks were great, his striking was good and didn't give up even with a fucked up nose for 2 rounds.

Both of the fighters looked great, and no one in here has the right to talk shit about Gonzaga, he showed great spirit and fought well..

The only match that pissed me off was babalu vs heath, the ref should've stopped the match wayyyyy earlier imo, the guy was a bloody mess and hardly showed any signs of retaliating... Then Babalu has to put him to sleep, what a dick..

Maybe you should learn the whole story first...Heath thought he was a funny guy at the weigh in when he came in Wearing a shirt with Babalu's mug shot on it from when he got arrested about a month or so ago and Babalu wasn't having that shit espically after what he's been through in the past few months and really punished Heath totally dominating all aspects of the game and choking him out for good measure....maybe Heath will learn to Respect his fight game elders after that beatdown.

Also now Babalu has been cut from the UFC roster because of that incident....Dana seriously needs to die like now.

Why does Dana have to die? Because he's trying to clean up the image of the UFC from the days of Tank Abbott and turn it into a respectable sport, so the politicians and boxing powers-that-be won't try to ban it, again?

Because he overreacted to a minor situation.....that fight wasn't on the live PPV and the only way to see it is on the net.......your average Tuf noob wouldn't of even known about it and they probably would of liked it anyway......and the even bigger point is the UFC let go of a top 205lber.

Clean up my ass.....have you even seen TUF??? that show caters to all noobs who want to see "blood and brawling" espically with all the fights in or around the house with a bunch of loud mouth punks who for the most part suck ass at MMA......besides the UFC just made a UFC installment of the idiots guide to series called "The idiots guide to "ultimate fighting"......fu*k that man its MMA not "ultimate fighting" just another example of how the UFC caters to mostly moron's with no MMA knowladge.

So he put 25k and his career on the line for something like that?
Talk about being provoked easily. I pity people with a short temper, maybe you have one too but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. He put Heath in his place and lost his career in the UFC. Maybe he should grow up a bit and stop acting like a little kid.

Good post. Except for the Koscheck wrestling part. He is, at any point in time, from now till the end of his life, a better wrestler than GSP. His problem? He was told this too much, and believed he could take down. Other problem? He tried punching a hole in GSP's head.

im wondering what would happen if someone getz killed in a ufc fight, do you think it would fuel the ratingz and popularity, or be blown way out of proportion and end up hurting the ufc?
