I feel bad for Chuck, and I hope is is okay. He was a great warrior, and I refuse to dump on him. However, he has been with the same guys forever. Maybe he needs to train with Couture and Ajarn Fairtex in Vegas.
There are no real 400-0 records; if you fight the best all the time, losing is inevitable. And no man defeats Father Time!

The guys I was watching with all say he's done. I think he just needs to stop partying so much (if the rumors are accurate.)

I want to see a Jardine/F. Griffin rematch.

Depressing fight for Chuck fans, but I definitley don't think he should switch trainers. John Hackleman and the Pit team have led him to a fantastic career over the last 15 years, a championship winning streak that's seen him knocking out some of the best fighters in the world. Two losses is no reason to dump them. My instructor went to Cali a couple of weeks ago and trained with Hackleman and the Pit guys for four days and he came back raving that the whole thing was just great, real ohana, family.

Chuck just flat got caught by Rampage, but he didn't look like the usual Chuck against Jardine, especially after that knockdown. He didn't seem quite able to commit and finish, maybe the ghost of the Rampage fight in the back of his mind, and as those leg kicks added up pretty soon it was too late. Hopefully he'll pull it back together soon and show us the Chuck we all know.

i think thatz accurate, he looked like he waz afraid to get hit or caught by too big of a hit and jst couldnt get over that feeling, and couldnt open up. at the end of the fight you could tell he waz dissapointed with himself. but at least he didnt get beaten too a pulp or knocked out. jardine waz the one bleeding, not him.

            I heart Chuck!

I was sorry to see him lose, but he's still one of my favourite fighters.

I like Chuck to. I have always enjoyed seeing him beat guys with strikes versus going to the ground. Nothing against the ground fighters out there as I consider myself one.

I do not understand why Chuck has given up on the ground game. I have seen some of his older fights and he was pretty good on the ground.

Of course he is past his prime... but so is Randy Couture. That does not mean he can not fight any more. He just needs to fight smarter and not harder.
