I'd like to see either Goldberg or Scott "Big Poppa Pump" Steiner in a NHB match. I believe either one would do very well.
Bam Bam Bigelow fought Kimo in a NHB match several yrs ago in Japan. Kimo whipped him good. It is one of my favorite fights.

      Goldberg, what a joke?!

That punk would get his ass kicked! It makes me laugh how he does some yelling in the ring and everyone thinks he is a killer. If he was that tough don't you think he would have gone beyond being a shi**y nose tackle in the (snicker, snicker) "World League of American Football". He would last about 2-3 seconds against someone like Vovchanchin, or practically any other heavyweight in NHB. I actually hope it happens (but of course it won't, he's to much of a pussy) because I would pay money to see that bi*ch get his ass kicked. From what I hear (from a fairly reliable source) wrestlers don't even respect him, I think he would find that once he got that WCW silver spoon out of his ass he would not do so well at all. And that is just Pro wrestling, in the real world he would get killed. Some of your other wrestlers are genuinely tough guys though, and with A LOT of training may be able to do alright. No, I think that punk might be better off staying out of the UFC.

Sure he is big and strong but USA pro-wrestling has no real tech. other than bigger and stronger. He would be out of gas in like 2 to 4 min.the only chance he would have is with a smaller striker(with no ground skills) if he could get a take down before a ko.(this is assuming that he only does pro stuff and does not really train)

It would be great to see from a novelty perspective. Other than that, what would warrant Goldberg as being seen as a potential winner ? Not much ! There are hundreds of other athletes from other sports who are just as big and mean looking as Bill - and from that lot, very few who would do much better than Bam Bam Bigelow !

            Did you guys know?

Goldberg may not be the pushover you guys take him for. He owned a gym in Atlanta with Tim "Obake" Catalfo
and a host of other martial artists. He allso wrestled in highshcool. I want you guys to know that I am not a Goldberg smooch or a big pro wrestling fan I was just adding a different perspective.

and they are in excellent shape..
just look at tank, they whipped him into shape good..

Hell man...didn't Shamrock even say that at times he thought WWF was harder to train for than NHB?? (I THINK I read this somewhere)

Yeah...its fake but those guys are good athletes..

I've heard the same thing about Goldbergs boxing and wrestling knowledge even when he comes out for his fight he throws some pretty good upper cuts and hooks he can kick too I've seen him do it he can do side kicks and roundhouse kicks fairly well I heard he had a karate guy work with him on it. The only reason I question his other ablities is because he only does that sneak up behind the guy foot ball tackle and that hold them over his head vertical body slam. Bret the Hit Man Hart was always doing leg locks and knee bars and stuff but I have only seen Goldberg do those moves twice. If Goldberg did more moves I would believe he had a better chance but I think he could do fairly well depending upon who he fights.

I know that Pro Wrestling is a tough job, just the traveling involved is tough enough, let alone finding time to train, and go out in front of 20,000 every second night.

But I'm questioning Bill Goldberg himself. I think that some people see his act and mean look and think the guy is the toughest man in the world. I think there are alot of other wrestlers who would do better, I've heard HHH has studied alot of submission wrestling, Undertaker is just as mean looking as Goldberg (if you want to go by that), and others. Or better yet if you want to look at strength look where Goldberg failed, the various nose tackles in Football, Warren Sapp (probably not smart enough to learn any martial arts but still big and strong), Cortez Kennedy, Tony Siragusa, etc.. I can garentee you that these guys are stronger than Bill Goldberg.

Guys, I guess in some ways Goldberg looks and acts the part, but trust me there are vast numbers of guys all over who are bigger and stronger than Bill Goldberg (if that is what we are looking at for who we would like to see in the UFC). Even other wrestlers, somebody mention Brett Hart, and his late brother, I guess they were very good amateur wrestlers long ago, they would have had a better chance due to there grappling skills. OH PERFECT, Kurt Angle!!! That would be the guy who would really do well in NHB (with a little additional training), that is the guy we should be talking about, he would kill Bill Goldberg in a real fight.

Oh yea I forgot about Kirk Angle he would definatly be able to kick Goldbergs ass in a real fight. I'm always disappointed that he doesn't bust out more of his real wrestling moves in the ring it would be cool if he used more of the real stuff.

Goldberg is a lot better than you fools think. He has been doing extensive training in submission wrestling and boxing for several years now. Ken Shamrock said in an interview that Bill Goldberg is one Pro Wrestler that could succesfully make the transition to MMA.

Goldberg would kick little Kurt Angles butt all over the Octagon.

personally, i think bastion booger would have the most feared triangle in all of nhb.

Goldberg said himself that he cant fight in NHB.He said that he had a leg problem so he couldnt fight in nhb.I dont know if it is a real injury or just a wimpy excuse but either way he would lose.

He would just be another strong guy.You know? You can catch them on trees anyway.
