Best schools in So Cal

I train in a classical jujutsu system but I need to work on my ground fighting. What is the best (bang for the buck) school in the South Bay or West LA area. I know that Torrance is the Mecca, is the Gracie Academy the best to learn from (I know they are pricey)or is there some where else. I have great ukemi (rolling rebounding skills) though they differ from judo ukemi. We don't slap out of the rolls. So want to get onto technique training as soon as possible.

in the south bay i recommend the machado academy in torrance and raw in el segundo (frernando v and frank shamrock)

in the marina del rey/west la i recommend rey diogo and in culver city gerson (barra gracie). also, marcus vinicius at bhjjc in beverly hills.

I can train at any of the greats here in Southern California;
Torrance, Machado's, RAW, Rickson's, BHJJC and the others, but I chose Rey Diogo.

plain and simple.

The others will give you very good quality instruction, but I have yet to meet an instructor that takes the time to make sure that you are learning, to the point of personally showing you how to do the moves until you get it.
I have yet to meet a person that has more passion about teaching BJJ.

Rey recognizes that there are many kinds of students in BJJ, those that are going on to compete, those that just want to stay in shape, and those that want to learn as much BJJ as possible to keep going on and on.

Each class you just never know who will show up, big names...etc. Sometimes there are very small classes, just like a semi private.

We are a small school, where you still get very individualized attention to the details, unlike at other schools.

But the BEST school is where you are happy at.
