Andrei Arlovski is on the undercard?! How did that happen?

If Anderson wins then he needs to move up a weight class or something to find more competition.

Why does he need to do that? When Matt Hughes, Chuck or even Rich Franklin were winning, no one was calling for them to jump weight divisions. The impetus isn't on him to go and find someone to kick his ass so much as it for others to step up to the plate and dethrone him. Why are all the 'talented' guys (ie Swick and others) dropping down to welterweight? 'Cause they know that they'll get their asses handed to them, that's why. More interesting, why isn't anyone calling them on it? Just my two cents. J~

He and Zuffa definitely gave MMA mainstream acceptance Stateside, and made it profitable as well.

That said, yeah, the contractual BS going on is getting ridiculous.

Lol sounds like you're trying to start something. What I'm saying is, if he beats Dan Henderson, and badly at that, then he's no longer going to really have any competition in his weight class. At that point, if he really wants a challenge he'd have to move up. Interpret that however you want.

Dana White is a big bag of donkey shit.
Totally with you on that one, Mike.

Anderson Silva is simply the best at his weight class. Why should he move up a weight class? I enjoy his fights at this weight class. His game is simply at another level.

It is like double taxes on the wealthy. You are punishing someone for being successful.

I think this actually the best fight card UFC has put together in a while. Diego Sanchez, Fitch, Koscheck, Cheick Kongo, Arvloski, and ofcoarse Silva and Henderson all fighting.

              Henderson by TKO
              Koscheck by armbar
              Arlovski by kimura
              Diego by KO

What happened though? I didn't see Arlovski, I didn't see Sanchez. Where were they?

Well it wouldn't really be punishing. We aren't forcing him to move up in any way but it's just a matter of finding people who can actually compete against you.

I read an article on Yahoo News about this past UFC and it said how Dana White and the UFC tried to bury the Arlovski fight because it was his last fight under contract with them. I agree with you Mike... Dana White is a piece of shit.

I am really hoping that Mark Cuban and HDNet Fights will be able to sign some of the big names in MMA. He has the money to pay them and is a big MMA fan. It is long over due that these guys start getting paid what they are worth. Not the crap they are making today. While some of them are making really good money for each fight the majority of them are not. Dana White and Zuffa LLC are making a lot of money off of these guys and the merchandise they are able to sell. It is time they start paying the fighters better. There is no reason why Brock Lesnar made $250,000 and Frank Mir made $40,000. When Frank Mir is the former UFC Champion and Lesnar was a new comer to the UFC.

I fully understand Lesnar making the money he did since he was a big name from the WWE and the whole WWE vs. UFC angle that was taken in the promotion of the fight. But come on man... if Floyd Mayweather Jr. can get a $20million payday for fighting the Big Show on WWE's Wrestlemania then the UFC should be able to come up with money for its fighters.

Dana is a good guy...I have no idea why you guys are ripping him. The money is there if you are willing to put on a good show!

Dana is just concerned withthe spending habits of his fighters...he's holding the money like afather holds your allowance. I mean what would they need all the money for anyway. Tito and Dana couldn't get together, but I'm sure Randy would love to get into the ring with ole D. White
